JackFrost Posted 13 July, 2012 Share Posted 13 July, 2012 Yeah with GTA IV they tried to go the "realism" route and it just didn't work that well. The whole point of GTA is being in a virtual environment where you can blow up police helicopters with armoured tanks and doing whatever the hell you want. I also found a lot of the characters in GTA IV irritating - Niko spending half the story talking about his soul, and as for that Roman guy - jeez. The Jamaican Jacob fella was the only character that I found entertaining/amusing although that's probably because I've come across so many fellas that are just like him in real life when I was on the beat. One rumour on wikipedia is they're trying to re-create real life Los Angeles which would be interesting. They need to produce an updated version of the San Andreas formula.
