The live updates cover goal, red card and penalty incidents. Example – Shreeves: “Goal at Anfield, Fulham’s Clint Dempsey scores a brilliant freekick to make it 2-1, 73 minutes played” Tyler “Thanks Geoff • If you are unhappy you now have the option to request a transfer, or request a loan to gain more match experience (career mode) • If you choose to play for a top club with a low rated VP you will not be a first team starter to begin with, you’ll be loaned to gain experience first. • Once your playing days are over can can opt to retire and take up management. • The transfer system has been completely re-written for Career Mode in FIFA 13. (good because it sucked in 12) • Both the Youth System and player growth are being upgraded (awesome and hopefully being at Saints will mean we have a good youth set up) • You can manager both national and another team at the same time. • Is the world cup in the game? We will have a World Championship that will follow the same format (Meaning the World Cup won't be licensed). • If you play as player mode you can hand in a transfer request/leave the club at any point. So far three new stadiums have been spotted in the trailer • White Hart Lane • King Fahd Stadium • One new nameless generic stadium Looks as though they have decided to change career mode a lot then and make it more realistic. You can view all available jobs now (both league and national) and view all leagues which they have added Saudia Arabaia, Czech league and some others that nobody will ever play.... However the computer is still too hard to stop. But I guess its always been that way with the new versions then you get used to it eventually. Those stats will be used as the base for all other modes, but EA now appear to update form even more regularly (at least weekly), so there'll be fluctuations. JPTCount Posted 20 September, 2012 Share Posted 20 September, 2012 played a few games last night, attacking is much better, fluid, one touch passing, but the defence still feels frustrating and passes still seem to go astray. not keen on the new first touch mechanics either, makes city look a bit Sunday league at times, tapping l2 to control seems a necessity. Saint J 77 Posted 24 September, 2012 Share Posted 24 September, 2012 (edited) I know the Fifa game play improves each year and that is obviously where they should have the primary focus but I have always wanted more from the rest of the game. I wish the crowd was more interactive and responded more realistically. For example in manager mode if you are doing well higher crowds singing your praises, if you are struggling lower crowds chanting for the manger to go. I'd like them to try and recreate that winning away matches in the last minute feeling. They should have an actual away section of fans cheering, going "mental" as we did when Lambert scored against City away this season. Not last minute, I know but thats the type of crowd reaction I mean by "mental". They have never really been able to captured that big game atmosphere but I would have thought they should be able to do that or something close to it by now. I'd like to see realistic weather conditions that can change durning a match depending on the time of season. Also in manger mode it would be good if they had a realistic setting. So instead of pro, semi pro etc, teams performed mostly according to the quality in the team so you never know how difficult a game is going to be. I know the main thing to get right is the way the game plays and thats how it should be but I'd love to see changes like this made as it would surely make the game feel even more like the real thing if they did. Maybe the current generation of consoles are unable to handle these sort of changes but surely they could give it a go? I like the new training modes, and I've just given Pompey a nice hammering. I very much like the way Pompey programmed themselves into League One with crap players! Ramirez is class from initial impressions. Just had a go on the live fixture mode. Obviously it's all an iteration on last year's game, which I own, but very impressed so far.
