Steam - Help Required...!

Before I start I should perhaps explain that I have no idea what Steam is, however.....

My young son has a Steam account - he thinks he knows his login name, but unfortunately he has forgotten his password and to compound the issue the email address that he gave when opening the Steam account has now been deleted and cannot be reinstated.

Does anybody know how he can overcome this and log into his old account?

Can he just start a new Steam account and use the game he has purchased so far?

Any help / advice / assistance would be gratefully received.

I think that your best bet in this instance is to contact Valve Customer Support. Send them the old email address, account name and explain what happened (if you can provide some extra info to help them verify, all the better).

You've got two paths into that system, one which requires knowledge of a password, or another that requires access to an email inbox. Neither helps you, so I think an email to Valve is the way to go.
