How's the training been going? Got a specific time in mind, or are you not worried about time?

 

Training is fine, been averaging 1000km a month through the summer. Final decent ride (120km) tomorrow with a group so the distance isn't an issue but I'd like to do this non-stop.

 

If I can jump into a fast group then sub 5hrs/4.5hrs is certainly the target. The only issues are Leith Hill and that's more to do with narrow lanes and people pushing their bikes or wobbling up the middle, and the need to refill water bottles.

 

The lads I've trained with start either 15mins before me or 15mins after so we've yet to workout of we are waiting for each other as two of them are beasts and I'll happily sit of their wheels all of the way around!
