View From The Top Posted 10 August, 2014 Share Posted 10 August, 2014 Completed the London Ride today in biblical weather. I have never seen rain like it, plus hail, wind and proper thunder storms. Roads were under water and the descending was so dangerous that they wouldn't let us take on Leith Hill. Had to stop twice to allow ambulances through as people binned their bikes on the downhills and then got a rear puncture on a downhill myself. Those delays cost me 10/15mins but still posted a time on 4hr 19mins for 141km.
