Rome.

Stockholm. Built on islands so always a feeling of space and views over water. Summer on the archipelago.

Paris, stunning architecture all over the place.

Prague. Pork knuckle beer fitties.

Been to Prague been to Paris but nothing beats Monaco

Agree. Beautiful city, stunning archipelago. Only downside I found – drinks etc can be expensive.

Have to have a shout for Amsterdam too. I've been going for over 20 years and will probably never stop. And no, it's not for the ho's.

Berlin is pretty decent

Not a city as such but Carcassonne in France is nice in a small kind if way.

Valencia, not the easiest to get to but great weather, food and beaches. Great architecture (old & new), the ricketty old Mestella and potentially the new one.

Barcelona, Rome & Krakow also decent shouts as well.

That actually creates a plus - Swedes socialise a lot at home, often passing round hooch they distilled themselves and flavoured with sweets. Had a couple of great nights on parma violet vodka.

I've never had that but can taste it anyway. I think I've just done a little sick in my mouth.

Copenhagen. Love that place. Reasonably priced alcohol for Scandinavia, a great vibe, some classic architecture, stunning Women, and I just love strolling through the main shopping street and down by the harbour. Plus you can easily go across the Oresund Bridge for a coffee in Malmo.

London (hometown bias), or Barcelona. Only place I've seriously considered leaving for.

Orange juice, water, sugar and bread. Filtered through a sock and drank in a squash bottle on Saturday night. Ahhh, Wandsworth a wing, I miss you sometimes.

Berlin takes some beating and I love Copenhagen as well but Venice packs the WoW and Rome beats you over the head with history. My missus has just piped up with Florence & Parma.

We are just sorting out a city break double header with the kids and it looks like Munich / Vienna is the plan.

ok, ok. It was just a spot of watersports.

I like Montpellier , But Dublin is tops for me.

I like Oslo, great laid back feel to it, beautiful setting.

I'd have to say Florence. Simply the most beautiful city I've been to. Although many of the buildings were looking a bit pollution weary.

Think London would be up there too.

Another vote for Amsterdam here, just got back from my 4th trip there. It's known for the nightlife (and those who dwell in it) but it's actually a really nice place as well. Beautiful canals, great museums and loads of little bars and restaurants. I find that it's incredibly clean as well, unlike London, Paris etc. The green is just the cherry on top!

Rome but Lisbon has something of the night about it. Some great modern architecture in Valencia - Calatrava and Edinburgh or Bath for the British Isles

Oslo - they have the whole work life balance sorted

Stockholm - beautiful walking city

Rome - so much history,

Pick one - hmmmm - got to be Rome because of the whole Catholic thing

Easy peasy, Berlin for me without a doubt.

German beer, German food (Big Pork Knuckles) and the best night life of any city I've been to (lots of Heavy Metal).

A shed load of your typical museums and then smaller museums for more niche tastes, i.e. the Ramones museum.

We go at least twice a year for long weekends. Absolutely love the place.

Good shouts for Barcelona and Paris as well. If you're ever in Paris, check out Black Dog. It's a Heavy Metal bar with the greatest steak restaurant in the back.

Rome or florence. Nothing else comes close.

Although smaller than Malmö..Helsingborg is far nicer imo , as is Gothenburg.

Tough one - I'd find it hard to choose between Barcelona, Athens and Bruges. Love them all for different reasons.

Venice followed by Florence. Never fussed about Venice until I went a few years ago and realised what all the fuss was about.

Florence every time - beautiful architecture, fantastic food, and not as bullish as Rome.

1- London - Not only the greatest City in Europe, I'd say the World.

2- Venice - Stunning, not an ugly building in sight and truly unique.

3- San Sebastian - Best food in Europe and a very cool attitude.
