On Sunday 24th August there is a Charity day being held at The Bush Inn, Wimpson Lane, Maybush in memory of Katie Symonds. Katie who passed away on 13th June aged just 21 months when the family had to take the decision to turn off her life support machine. We are trying to raise money for a memorial fund and Great Ormand Street Hospital. There are a number of things going on during the day for children such as a Bouncy Castle and Face Painting. There will be a Charity Aution held as well, with a number of signed shirts up for grabs we hope to have an ex Saints player there to M.C the auction for us, if you are in the area please feel free to pop in and support us. Katies mum was season ticket holder for a number of years untill Katies birth also Katies grandfather Bob Symonds was a steward at both The Dell & St Marys till retirement for more years than I care to remember.

There will also be a raffle on the day, a few of the prizes. A pair of tickets for the Blackpool game, a months membership to LA Fitness, a voucher for a two ball at Paultons Golf Centre, a voucher for Simon Upson hairdressers. If anyone/company would like to donate a draw prize please PM me.

I have just had confirmation that Nicky Banger has kindly agreed to MC the auction for us. As most of you will know Nicky played for Saints and still turns out for Ex-Saints and childrens charities are very close to both him and his wife

We had a great day yesterday, the day started at 12 noon and ended at midnight. Nicky Banger his wife and children joined us at about 6.00pm he did the auction for us just after 7.00pm we auctioned seven items which raised over £1000.00. Nicky was a top man and did a great job for us and has said he will support us with another function we hope to have, today will a day of reflection and counting money. Many thanks to all who supported us and many thanks to all the Management and Staff at The Bush who helped make it a great day.
