• Adam Lallana to get second international start against Germany

After impressing during his first cap against Chile, Adam Lallana retains his place in the England team ahead of playing the old enemy, the Germans at Wembley tomorrow night.

Despite the result Lallana certainly made his mark.

While England were defeated against Chile, Adam Lallana provided food for thought for Roy Hodgson as he pressed and fought his way to what was considered by many to be a man of the match performance on his international debut.

It was confirmed today that he will keep his place in an England side that sees nine changes ahead of a meeting with a highly rated Germany side.

Sadly, Jay Rodriguez couldn't keep his place after an underwhelming debut, Rickie Lambert is expected to feature from the bench after Hodgson revealed he would 'like to see' Lambert up front during his press conference today.
