  1. Now that’s just silly and failing to understand the statistics. If they were totally useless then the professionals in the game wouldn’t use them and the outcome of them wouldn’t so closely align with the good players and the not so good. Baz is a half decent goal keeper but as the stats confirm he isn’t in the top drawer which I think even the most casual observer would agree with.
  2. Hard to say as championship sides are so transient, if we don’t go up will we find such great value in the loan market again? Will we manage to replace the contracted players with similar quality? Same can be said for all the other top teams in the league. I said in September when we couldn’t buy a win that automatic promotion was gone and sadly that looks to be the case. It will be annoying if we break 90 points and still get to rot in the play offs, if that is the case I hope Leeds and Leicester go up as I’d much rather play Ipswich!
  3. Agree, if we get promoted I think he is a realistic signing otherwise our only hope would be another loan deal.
  4. Sadly Charisma and competence/integrity don’t always go hand in hand! Boris had plenty of charisma…..
  5. What he’s saying is he’s like RM to take his share of the blame when things are dire and then reflect and improve things for the next game, no point accepting the blame if you don’t learn anything! Manning keeps appearing despite being possibly our worst left back since Patric Colleter pulled in the shirt and we insist of playing every single ball out from the back inviting pressure because it is so predictable we need to mix it up just a tiny little bit. Saying you accept the blame but not changing is like a toddler saying sorry to get a toy back …. utterly meaningless. Anyway COYS great result and we still have a chance of the automatic spots.
  6. A rounding error on the daily salary bill! The club should certainly buy it.
  7. Agreed, he was a total flop at saints, felt horribly out of his depth and seemingly never had the players with him. None of that means he won’t find success with his hoof ball elsewhere, it worked at Luton after all. one thing I think we can all agree on though is that he is not one of the best managers in Europe 😂
  8. I just checked and clumsy isn’t another word for terrible, awful, dire or stupid. What really got me was the way he was protesting to the referee when he got a yellow when he should have been thanking his lucky stars! I’m can’t stand VAR but that is a perfect example of how it should work, the ref makes clear and obvious error the TV picks it up and quickly corrects the on field decision.
  9. We were going to loose eventually, hopefully it’s the kick up the backside we need to push on which I guess we will see on Friday night. What ever happens if we don’t go up this year it won’t be an away game at Bristol City that cost us it will always be the terrible run while we were settling into the new system post JWP leaving. Disappointed to loose but it is how we bounce back that’s important (even Leicester have lost a couple!)
  10. No but they probably have a buy back clause in the eventual transfer, will be so annoying if we don’t go up this season as he must be being heavily tracked by premier league clubs! I was surprised we got him this year next year he has to be playing top flight football he’s way to good for this league.
  11. Maybe he wants to come back to his 'spiritual home' his career has taken a bit a nosedive lately but there is a player in there somewhere, I wouldn't be adverse to signing him on a short term deal if he was interested.

looks like a great signing assuming we manage to get it over the line, shame there doesn't look to be an option to buy if we go up and it surely adds some complication picking a matchday squad as we have so many loan players? Maybe we need to turn one into a permanent move now?
  13. Yes, there is no way we send out a fire that weak against Liverpool to get battered!
  14. Quality player who arrived at the perfect moment for both him and the club. Wish him well for his retirement, it’s a shame he’s gone out on the treatment table rather than the pitch.
  15. They could just as easily get injured in training? I wouldn’t play our best side as it’s good to give others minutes but we should be putting out a strong 11 winning breads more winning! The longer the run goes on the better!
