  1. Hopefully the “preventative chemotherapy” suggests it’s nothing too serious. Won’t stop the conspiracy theorists though, especially the jab induced turbo cancer ones.
  2. Mental that we live in a world where a frighteningly lifelike mould could be produced by 3D printing, but instead poor Harry has to suffer the embarrassment of pretending he’s “proud” to be associated with that statue.

  4. Franny would be perfect as a co-commentator on some form of Saints media, wonder if he was ever approached.
  5. His accent used to get on my tits, but in fairness he’s definitely grown on me, and I admire how critical he can be of us and our play as though he’s watching us as a fan. Counter that with say Dean Hammond, who for me has had the opposite effect, and I can’t stand his Uber positivity no matter how shit we’re playing. It’s almost like he’s scared if he criticises us he’ll lose his job or get shot as if he’s working for the DPRK.
  6. I thought that’s where the princess towers were going?
  7. Interesting that the affected building is owned by Saints apparently, wonder what they had in mind for it eventually.
  8. So what you’re saying is if we don’t go up this year we’re pretty fucked.
  9. I can’t laugh too much at it, just reminds me of Prutton away at West Brom in 2005….
  10. Hopefully Downes is back, if not then Shea needs to play CDM. If Smallbone plays there then we’re fucked. Brum are doing ok of late, admittedly Mowbray won’t be in the dugout for this but I’m sure the team will be very well drilled in how to counter us, as his Sunderland side did so devastatingly earlier in the season. Tough match, desperately hope we win but wouldn’t be surprised if we fluff it again. St Andrews always seems to be an awkward place for us to go.
  11. Unfortunately the likes of Chelsea and Man City have a number of satellite academies across the uk, including in Hampshire. Any talent that would have likely ended up under our care is now being allured by the package these clubs offer them and their families. We’ll still have a few breakthrough but whether they’ll ever be at the level we’ve been lucky enough to witness over the years is unlikely. Back to tonight and the result was to be expected although we played better than I thought we would. Crap finishing and lack of striker has once again cost us, and the last minute equaliser proves pointless and costly given the fatigue and possible injury to KWP.
  12. You can’t lose a 50/50 challenge if you haven’t got the balls to attempt one…
