  1. Betting odds have been a good guide to our games recently. On that basis there's about 60% chance of Saints win, 23 % of draw and 17 of Swansea win. Doesn't seem too far out, though I'd put out chances a bit higher than that
  2. If you believe bookies know best, the latest betting odds suggest 45% chance of Saints win, 29% of Norwich win and 26% of a draw. I’d say there’s a better than 50% probability of us winning
  3. I miss almost everything about the Prem except VAR. Above all seeing better opposition players at St Mary's than we're seeing in the Champ this season. And I miss being part of the Prem's "media circus" as someone called it. I liked being on MoTD even if we were the last game in a 0-1 defeat 😬
  4. Some may be unhappy with our lineup but Villa Talk is much less happy about theirs. Typical posts: Unbelievable that he benches Dougie after the last match. How can SG be the only one who can't see that Ramsey and McGinn can't play together in midfield? Not particularly happy about Konsa either. SG out. I honestly can't believe he is playing that midfield 3. Just sack him already. Drops Luiz. Goes back to the McGinn, Kamara, Ramsey midfield 3.Konsa still there despite playing like a member of the U12's. This manager is a joke. And many more like that
  5. BBC: Early Southampton team news Southampton v Norwich (Fri, 20:00 GMT) Southampton Oriol Romeu is back in contention after suffering with Covid, and there are no fresh injury concerns. I presume they mean Perraud!
  6. Hi Dan I also work for a media organisation with a paywall, so I know you why can't just give SaintsWeb members/subscribers free access to all your excellent articles in The Athletic -- but if you can post a few choice extracts on here that will be much appreciated 😉
  7. Not that bad! 21mph wind with max 36mph gusts is the latest Met Office forecast for 3pm Sat. Quite tranquil really.
