  1. I agree it doesn't show him in a good light but maybe it was his intention to stay and see out his contract. I think what has happened is one of two things. We either told him to sign an extension or go now, OR we pushed him out. I think he probably is an honourable man but the circumstances presented just wouldn't allow him to be.
  2. I don't think I have ever read such a one sided article. Anyway who says they have more money? Maybe we could have matched the offer but didn't think he was anywhere near worth it? Or maybe the contract extension we offered was even less than what we are currently paying him because we were trying to push him out the the door? No-one knows for sure and we may never will. This article is just dribble. I really do think we wanted him out, and Everton got wind of this.
  3. This. With a year left on his contract we would get £25 M, let alone two years. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk

  5. Maybe he knows he is not signing no matter what and he is looking for an excuse. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  6. Honouring his contract is no good. Teams never do well when they know the manager will be leaving, it just doesn't work. If he doesn't extend, he has to go and maybe this is what the club ultimately wants. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk

  8. I think everything sounds like he won't sign a new deal, and I think he will go this summer. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  9. The point is, it is not any good him seeing out his contract, if he won't sign an extension he has to go this summer! Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  10. This. I don't get some people's thinking that it is a good thing if he sees out his contract. Teams always under perform if they know the manager is leaving. If he doesn't sign he has to go. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  11. Isn't the point that if RK doesn't sign a new contract he will be gone this summer anyway. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk

  13. He is a good manager and he obviously has Spurs playing well but is finishing 2nd in the prem that good. In a season when Leicester win it, Chelsea having a bizarrely bad season, Man city having a dip cos of the announcement of their manager going and Man U suffering cos of their dopey manager. Poch also has one of the best strikers in Europe at his disposal. If we had Kane we would have been finishing 2nd or 1st. Anyway the point is, if the usual 4 had not been out of sorts all season, it would have been another 5th or 6th finish for Spurs. Hell without Kane it would probably have been 9th.
