  1. ...Step forward number 17 Matthew Paterson Truely, truely shocking. Has very very limited ability, and just strolls around. All I can say is thank god we'll have Saga and Papa available for saturday. I rate him lower than Paul Wotton becuase what Wotton lacks in skill, he makes up in effort
  2. cheers, needs a bit of tweaking here and there though
  3. How about this one (needs a bit of tuning up I admit) to the tune of When I was just a little boy... When I was just a little boy, I asked my brother, Who plays at the back? Is it Wayne Thomas, Or is it Chris Perry, Here's what he said to me. J-A-I-D-I He's bigger than you and I, He's better than Sun Ji Hai, J-A-I-D-I
  4. Knowing Saints it'll be neither
  5. if something had happened they would have announced it by now
  6. That was 5 or 6 seasons ago, maybe more than that. And unless i'm mistaken, we don't have anyone left at the club who was with us then?
  7. I know the blame for our demise lies at the feet of many people who have had connections with Saints in many different roles from Directors/Chairmen, to Players and Managers, but has St. Mary's got anything to do with it? Are the players scared or overwhelmed by the size etc of it? Or is the emptyness of it a real downer on our players and a motivator for opposition players? Over the past 2 seasons, and the 2 home games this season our home record stands at this: Played 48 Won 13 Drawn 17 Lost 18 Scored 51 Conceded 58 Goal Difference -7 I'm not suggesting for a second that we up-sticks and build a new ground, but this is a problem as whatever league you play in, you MUST win you're home games. What does everyone else think about this?
  8. Is he back at Saints as all we seem to do is pass the ball sideways or backwards, unless hoofing it long?
  9. Ok another disapointing performance, and I know some people may crucify me for this but we really should be beating teams like Brentford. We're one of the biggest teams in this league and brentford have just come up. It does not matter what league you are in, you MUST win your home games otherwise you're fudged. right my observations from today, Pardew (again) has worried me with his starting XI and tactics. He seems to be trying to build the team around Lallana...very worrying indeed. Davis 6- nothing to do, his kicking is sh*te James 2- Not a right-back, right-winger or midfielder...not a footballer really. Trotman 7- Did well for his first game, looks like a good signing. Perry 6- Struggled against Carl Cort who is about 3feet taller than him! Harding 9- What he was doing in the 6 yard box i'll never know, but i'm not complaining. Early contender for player of the season. Lallana 5- Too lightweight, no end product. Schneiderlin 5- tries the killer ball too often Hammond 6- Solid debut, only worry is he loks very very right-footed only. Mellis 4- Only recall him touching the ball once, and that was him smashing it wide Lambert 7- Won pretty much everything in the air but won't score if we don't give him chances Patterson 1- Why? just f*ck off. Too lazy, too lighweight, not enough ability for a sunday league team. He reads the game about as well as I can read Chinese. Utter Sh*te. Thomson 3- Did nothing when came on, at fault with James for equaliser. Saganowski 5- Hardly set the world alight but I'd much rather have an uninterested Saganowski than Patterson in any mood. Rasiak n/a- did he even touch the ball? a few conclusions... 1) We still can't defend for toffee, everytime the opposition gets a set piece they look as if they will score. 2) what was the point in AP introducing a winger in Thomson and the team then not using him? What's Ryan Smith up to these days? 3) Patterson, James, Thomson and poss Lallana will be playing non league footy in 2years or so. If they'r ethe best of our youngsters then God help us thats all I can say 4) The referee's in this league are worse than we are. 5) Let someone else take corners that's all I can think of at the moment, but to sum up, we were shocking!
  10. Just got back from the game and my god, what a load of sh*te that really was. The 3,00 saints support were as always fantastic and deserve better than that cr*p on show tonight. here's a few observbations i've made 1) Hoof ball doesn't work when you have 1 up top and nobody supporting him 2) We're not a rugby team - we are allowed to pass the ball forwards every now and again, no just sideways or backwards. I know Davis is our best player but we don't need to pass him the ball every 2 minutes!! 3) What is the point in having a midfield if we just lob it straight over them. 4) Paul Wotton should not be a professional footballer. 5) Alan Pardew's tatical knowledge is worrying. Davis. 8/10. Few good saves, kept us in the game to be honest, needs to work on his kicking. James. 2/10. Too small, weak and not good enough to play at this level. Harding. 7/10. If he carrys on playing like he is, he'll leave in January. Thomas. 4/10. Supposedly CCC ability. I'll believe it when I see it. Lancashire. 4/10. Too inconsistant and needs to work on distribution. Lallana. 5/10. Few nice touches, offers nothing else really Schneiderlin. 3/10. See Lallana. Wotton. 1/10. This guy is truly shocking. End of. Mellis. 5/10. Didn't disgrace himself, will turn out to be ok, looks a bit lightweight. Patterson 2/10. Can't head, pass, shoot and has the same amount of strength as bambi. Looks lost on a football pitch and falls over too much. Lambert. 6/10. Felt a bit sorry for him with no support. Gobern. Not enough time. Saganowski. See Gobern. Rasiak. See Gobern. Pardew. 0/10. Where do I start? 4-5-1 dowsn't work. Lancashire and Wotton are crap and why-o-why did it take him 80mins to realise it wasn't working when most of us realised that after 8. Needs to give the team the biggest kick up the arse in the world apart from saying "we were unlucky, there's always next week" attitude.
  11. I think he really is the worst player I've ever seen in a saints shirt, can't pass, run, tackle, head or shoot. He waves his arms around and shouts alot, but anyone can do that. and no I wasn't there when Ali Dia played.
  12. Why are people starting to call for pardew to get sacked after just 2 games FFS! ok we're playing crap today, but give the man a chance and we are going to lose a game every now and again
  13. maybe but that was a few years ago, he's well passed it now, I mean a midfielder who can't run, pass, shoot, tackle or head the ball doesn't give me much confidence
  14. just not Wotton, how the hell that bloke has been a professional footballer for 12+ years I will never know!
