  1. It’s pretty funny how so many people get upset with those happy by this news it’s not like we are wishing pain on bazunu .: it’s just it means that he now can’t be selected and he was a regular liability.. im pretty damn confident our goals against are gonna be far better now .. feel free to requote this post if I’m wrong
  2. Who could trust managers picking elyounoussi countless times last season even though every man and their dogs knew he was shit.. managers can get it wrong too majority on here have been moaning how piss poor bazunu is .. I don’t wish injury on him but him being out of the team will be good for our promotion hopes
  3. It’s never nice to rejoice in a player getting injured .... But this might actually be just what we need .. we have been having to defend with any decent shot on tarrget resulting in a goal I can’t see how former player of the season McCarthy can be worse tbf . this injury could be the difference between going up or not so whilst I feel for bazunu it’s a change that needed to happen
  4. Still baffles me that we don’t even try someone else ..it’s clear as day that he’s a liability .. McCarthy gets a lot of stick but one season he was nearly player of the year. Just wish we would actually try to change it now .. going into the playoffs with baz in goal is asking for disaster
  5. In for me .. I think he’s the first manager in a while that actually recognises the best line ups, by that I mean his team sheets are probably most aligned with the fans.. we don’t end up with weird moi like picks from him.. even his arguably poorest favourites like manning and smallbone he has started to see what the fans see so respect there .. alsio think he’s a good man manager, keeps most of the squad involved and has brought players back from the dead like Arma and Aribo who a lot of fans had written off.. tactics wise he’s a bit too predictable and we could do with toughening up but there’s enough positives for me
  6. Yeah it’s not really possible to compare jones vs Martin . Jones came into a awful side with not much creativity no decent strikers, a hologram gk and a team full of losing mentality in the premiership.. I don’t think it’s a coincidence all three managers where shit last season- it wAs a difficult job made even more difficult by the fact supporters and media being on his back almost streight away it is possible that if jones was brought in this season instead he could have done a decent job sometimes for a manager it’s about being in the right place at the right time. koeman for example came into a half decent foundation after poch and did superb, he did shit at Everton though hoddle same, great with us terrible at spurs
  7. Hard to label him our worst manager in recent history.. we were shit under three differant managers last season .. it’s hard to pin it all on him. personally I’d have preferred keeping him then replacing him with selles..
  8. I can’t blame him for this, che has been very wasteful and in general we have a load of exciting wide players but no clinical strikers Adams is super wasteful and we all know this so it’s a bit unfair to bash him for trying something else
  9. Hehe well he would probably be equally useless at saving shots .. but would be an upgrade on the passing out from the back so why not 😆
  10. Exactly .. it’s funny how people always try to draw positives from the consistently picked shit players bazunu - great passer for a keeper elyounoussi - his off the ball work Adams - a good second striker, hold up play etc ita all a load of bollocks really all three suck hard and are totally incapable of doing the job we want from them if what we look for in a goalkeeper is someone who is comfortable on the ball and can pass well but totally incapable of saving anything you might as well play David Brooks there it’s that stupid ..
  11. He has a bit of everything .. really superb versatile skill set .. I’d still like to see him in the false 9 think he will thrive there and be a huge upgrade on che . But this position is also fine .. he can play anywhere
  12. How are his shot saving stats compared to baz .. be interesting if any one can be bothered to dig them up
  13. It’s quite shocking really that we have had to accept him in goal unchallenged for two seasons .. I think he’s got off quite lightly considering .. it’s like having dexter blackstock in goal for two years . i said this last season that having him in goal and che up front makes it really really difficult to win tight matches .. Adams we kind of get away with a bit more in the championship as we create so many chances but The comments above about baz letting in any half decent attempt and looking like a outfield player in goal are bang on, it’s a huge handicap for us
  14. Hopefully it’s more a case of russ starting to get fucked off with the soft goals we concede with baz.. if he acts on it and puts lumley in now I’m all for it to be honest
  15. But he has played successfully as a striker/false nine for rangers successfully even scoring in a European final playing there .. as said he has a very versatile skill set and has strength and vision to hold up the ball and link play . Surely we would rather chances falling to him then che ?
