  1. Nope, can't see it, the reason being is that he is not a bed wetting ninny like the majority on this thread. Whilst the window hasn't blown anyones socks off, its been a sensible approach, to a well managed club who are still paying the price for mistakes in previous windows. This mess will not be sorted out overnight, we still have a multitude of high earners contracted to us, loaned out for which we are still paying a huge part of their salaries, wake up people!
  2. Now if anyone already wasn't sure that you had an agenda to fish for bites, then I think that's game set and match.
  3. No game is must win when there are still more than enough games and points available. Winning tonight will have a huge impact and it could possibly be the end for Fulham if they get another negative result. All id like tonight is a committed performance from the players, no huge howling mistakes and if we don't come out on top then so be it. Whatever the result what I do not want to see is the usual suspects saying ' we should have signed a striker in January' 'We shouldn't have let Cedric go' blah blah blah just like they think they have all the obvious answers, when if truth be known they probably have none. The negativity and I told you so after a poor result is just not needed and unfortunately you can not go back in time and change any of it so whats the ****ing point?
  4. Well said. It's unbelievable to see the reaction of Saints fans on here and Twitter the past few days. Has Ralph not earned our trust and respect yet? If he wanted players to leave as they were surplus to his requirements and is happy with what he has then so should we all be.
  5. So should we have just kept them all here not playing, or given them the chance to play and be in a shop window, so that we may generate a potential sale in future.
  6. Seriously you are criticising our new manager considering the results and competitiveness he has managed to galvanise thus far? If so you are completely mad. He is getting rid of players who are not dynamic or coachable enough to play the way he wants to, its as simple as that. Look at his coaching philosophy and history, its how he does his business and if you took the time to research him then you would realise that.
  7. Pretty much how I see it and I think like Gabbiadini it will be the right decision to let Lemina go. No player is bigger than the team and the way Ralph wants to play is pivotal to our future success. The sum of all parts will always be our greatest asset.
  8. Sorry, not looking to have a dig at you but to spin a negative on our new found optimism says a lot about you as a person. There is no doubt that Ralph's stock will rise and he will attract attention particularly if he continues his upward trajectory at Saints. Why not just see it for what it is, enjoy his management whilst he is here and jump on board for a fantastic ride.
  9. I totally made that mistake too, the chilli beer seemed a good idea at the time but finished me off!
  10. Valery was very accomplished defensively yesterday but as stated above he was way off the pace versus Cardiff and was a red card waiting to happen so was rightly hauled off at half time. He is part of a winning team at the moment and whilst his forward play needs to develop with confidence the fact he seems to want to defend well means I cannot see Cedric getting his place back if Valery continues to play like yesterday, for me Cedric is woeful defensively and that's his primary role in the team.
  11. Everyone seems to miss the point and the need to have a proper holding midfielder with the added bonus of being half decent in the air. I know he didn't have his best season last year but Romeu coming back into the team will make a huge difference to any of the CB's that are paired together! It was also good to see the new manager recalled him to the side to do this job.
  12. I heard from a reliable source the Maddison deal was close but yet again we completely messed it up. He certainly came to the training ground and met Les Reed and Mark Hughes.
  13. Agreed, it also gives the added bonus of getting that awful liability that is Wesley Hoedt out of the team, this cannot come soon enough.
  14. This with bells and whistles on, even Hughes knows it!
