  1. i do prefer the 10 games in hand, because they are all winnable, it's just the fact they are all being played in the space of a month, and it is taking its toll on the guys already especially after 3 games in 3 days.
  2. my bad we are 4th in the league 17 points adrift of the top spot but with 10 games in hand.
  3. as a fellow guernseyman my brother and i laughed quite a lot at this article, but tbh i don't see him getting in the team ahead of Ross Allen as his scoring record for the past two seasons has been unworldly, we're top of the league and have 17 games to play in the next month and we almost got the FA Vase final which is held at wembly last week, however we didn't make it but if we did our whole island would just about fill over half of wembly.
  4. in the words of Samuel L Jackson as coach Carter. 'i guess we'll have new top scorers this season.'
  5. i have played for the same club as matthew le tisser, and have watched his brilliance for free, have regular chats with his son and have scored a penalty where he once scored a penalty. jealous? i thought so.
  6. it was the thought of the majority of the crowd, with only 4 minutes stoppage time meant to be had, after he blew the whistle for full time, there were some harsh words shouted.
  7. Tony hasn't released the squad for the islands games as of yet but i very much doubt it will be different to what it was today, no idea on the situation for Jersey. also you may want to respell Guernsey in group C
  8. Coming from guernsey and supporting Southampton i must say that the Muratti is the biggest event in the sporting season for a Guern, and the rivalry of us and the crappos is usually more intense than that of us and the skates. The Muratti does consist of the four islands, Sark, Alderney, Jersy and Guernsey. however alderney and sark never make it past the semi finals as it is seeded. this year Guernsey were hot favourites to win as we represented england at thee amateur european championships. however yesterday jersey equalise in the 97th minute to make it 1-1, then they went on to win on penalties. I did not see le tiss at the game but he was most probably sat in the stands where you had to pay extra.
  9. goalkeeper from guernsey here been in the local press recently for attending trials at Southampton, but he's only 16 so i doubt that would be him.
  10. OH thank god, there has been nowt about this in the guernsey press as of yet.
  11. Please god don't be true i don't want any jersey scum running this club!
