  1. the arm which was beside his torso when the ball hit it from a metre away.
  2. Surprisingly, 11 clean sheets this season, unsurprisingly, well below the top three ranging from 16 to 20 games they didn’t concede.
  3. At the moment, I'd just like to see him be fit enough to play some games without getting injured!
  4. Nope. Think of it like being pregnant, you can't be nearly pregnant. 🙃
  5. And if they don’t they’ll get a points deduction and transfers need to be approved by the league.
  6. That is the easy bit to see and it’s nothing special considering most could see how many of these players would work out and the risks associated with crocked or new to first team football. what isn’t known is how he’s set up the internal structure to operate and if that is effective. That will take time to show and the new person is likely to change it to however they prefer to work!
  7. That’s shocking if true.
  8. Wasn’t the super league in addition to the PL?
  9. Rothwell got goal of the month with his volley for one.
  10. It’s an odd one as Burnley managed to do it, but obviously not having a Leeds and Leicester helped. Recruitment will be key as even the Man City kids signed have struggled to adapt to Russball, so something else must be going on.
  11. It will also depend on players recruitment and the new DoF. We need a couple of midfield marvels on the pitch, thinking of Jimmy Case type character and role, especially as we are likely to buy/loan more youngsters.
  12. Man United are only prepared to pay a year’s worth of his salary as compensation, seems like they are happy to wait like Saints did over RM!
  13. It is a guessing game. Play offs was what I thought we’d get at best in August, to be in with a shout of automatic promotion now, even if it’s a 10 percent chance exceed my expectations. It would be funny if Leicester somehow failed to achieve automatic promotion.
  14. The way things are shaping up, 30 points could be all that is needed to survive! Usually there is an uptick in points as teams roll up to the last chance saloon but both Burnley and Sheffield United are doomed and Luton have had some important players out, not sure if they will be back in time.
