I would like to see a high energy counter attacking 3-5-2 formation, ------------------Hart---------------------- --------Stones Smalling Bertrand-------- Clyne----------------------------------Rose ---------Henderson---Milner--------------- ------------------Rooney------------------- ----------Kane----------Vardy-------------- Subs: Forster,Butland,Walker,Dier,Cahill,Gibbs,Alli,Drinkwater,Barkley,Sturridge,Sterling,Walcott
  2. I thought his off the ball movements were good, which created space for others. Also the assist for the goal. correct me if i am wrong.
  3. I thought we were too 1 dimensional( deep crosses from both full backs to lambert),which didn't work out as the crosses were sh*t last night. de Ridder is not a good player, whenever he receives the ball, he just turns on his back and tries to hold it up ,no confidence to carry the ball and go past people, too 1 footed. Chaplow is a much better player. Hammond showed his true class today( mid championship/top league 1 player), Cork has good touches not strong enough to hold up the ball at times, Guly, the quick tempo of the game has got the better of him, he is the sort of player who needs space and time to be successful and therefore wont cut it in the premiership. Both centre backs just didn't have a good day at the office, the movements of their attacking players were just too much for them Lallana is not a winger, he plays in the ' hole' where he is the most effective, but is shifted out wide because of the system we play, but is still easily good enough for the championship. billy worked hard last night, Lambert also played well, good creativity. we will still go up, but not sure if we could still cut it at the premier league playing with this team and style of football
  4. can't wait until we get promoted to the prem so I don't to listen to Steve Claridge's voice
  5. FYI Chaplow = 57.2kg http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/ProfilesDetail/0,,10280~23702,00.html
  6. Beattie is better than Lambert and Barnard. IMHO
  7. He will regain his scoring touch at st mary's just like Skacel did for Hearts.
  8. I would rather have £7 million + 40% sell on fee. Arsenal is no doubt just a selling club at the end of the day.
  9. We don't want to lose him. Arsenal supporters don't want him. Whats all the fuss about?
  10. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11719_6647318,00.html Guly has agreed to make his loan move from Cesena permanent, a decision Adkins welcomes with open arms. "Guly came on and had an effect on the match with a fantastic strike," said Adkins. "He's a marquee player. He's a joy to watch. His attitude is tremendous. He's signed long term, he's committed himself, for me he is a magnificent signing."
  11. Leeds lost their league form so badly last year after beating man utd. However still looking forward to it Team played utd last time out: Davis, James, Perry, Lancashire, Skacel, Smith , McGoldrick, Gillett, Surman, Gobern, Paterson. We are so much better now!
  12. Daniel de Ridder. Wigan, out of contract in the summer. awesome dribbler
  13. I don't believe we need any more new signing tbh, except Guly. We have a good/big enough squad to win promotion. What I would like to see is may be give the youth a chance. e.g. Joe Mills/ Gobern/ Martin/ Doble. All good players with exciting future. We have loads of money but it will be better to live within our means.
