  1. He was on a season long loan to my home non league team Weymouth 2017/18 season. He even scored for us with a long free kick from his own half. So has gone from step 7 to step 1. He certainly looked quality then,
  2. Sorry, I should have linked my comments to the other thread.
  3. According to Southampton Echo. Maybe someone better than me can post a link.
  4. My Daughter and I have also not renewed for the first time in 6 years. We travel by train from Weymouth and where there are so many Sunday games it makes travelling more difficult because of so many bus transfers due to Sunday work on the line. It would just about be worth the trouble and the expense if the football on offer was more entertaining. Will choose our games (Saturdays) next season, with membership. Also my Wife has had to give up work for health reasons so we are down to my 2 modest pensions,
  5. This is a big boost for me because living in Weymouth I am out of range of Southampton Solent radio coverage (Fades badly south of Dorchester) Great news!
  6. Was unable to go to game against Man City. As a season ticket holder I sold tickets for myself and Daughter back to club and they re-sold the tickets, As credit has not been given yet to reduce price of next season's season tickets, I phoned club who, at first told me that as prices already set up. credit would go against 2017/18 season tickets!!! I said this should have been made more clear. He then went away and asked somebody else and confirmed account would be credited in 48 hours to set against next seasons tickets. I am only mentioning this in case anyone else has a similar case.
  7. Left School in 1966. Earnings £4.11 shillings a week after 9 shillings national insurance contributions. Able to start supporting Saints. Train from Weymouth to Southampton 12 shillings return (60p) Admission price at Dell (first season in top division) also 12 shillings. Programme 9 old pence. Arrive at ground at 12,30 for gates opening at 1pm. (Had to arrive early to avoid needing a stool to stand on to see!!!!)
  8. I am also a saints fan who still lives in Weymouth. Remember back in the seventies if Saints and Weymouth were both not at home, Bournemouth was my third choice. Think it was the seventies,Ted Macdougal and phil Boyer days. (age showing I'm afraid!!!)
  9. My home town club Weymouth and where I still live. Sadly slipped from Conference National to Southern League Premier. Watch them whenever Saints are away but season ticket holder at Saints.
  10. Apologies. Didn't see the other thread.
  11. SSN linking him with a move to Aston Villa or Everton. Rubbish?
  12. SSN now linking him with possible move to Aston Villa, or Everton. Rubbish?
  13. Well I come from Weymouth and I am a saints season ticket holder. Does that make me a bellend???!!!! Perhaps think about what you said.
  14. 11000 capacity. They must surely have plans to expand?
  15. A rumour apparently going round the Bournemouth area that early season matches to be played at Southampton while their ground is being redeveloped. Anyone know if there is any truth in this?
