  1. Well argued. Thanks. What do you disagree with?
  2. Exactly If these comments and those about Huddersfield were being made about those of a different ethnicity all hell would be let loose. I assume some latitude is being allowed by the moderators because this poster (Wade) is somehow challenged. If so some serious counselling is needed and these posts need moderation. I live in Yorkshire now after several happy times at the Dell watching great teams. I've worked in both Huddersfield and Hull and none of the comments made are accurate or funny. And they sure ain't Saintly. This isn't a sense of humour failure...there's no humour in this poison.
  3. Gives you better access to access routes from there...
  4. Park in city centre, use the shuttle service bus from the arches by city station. Maybe not make your red and white colours evident...done it before with a Leeds fan but to be fair no issues at the ground even though wearing scarves...even skacel scored!!!
  5. The most incisive runs and good passes against Brighton came from Lyanco. He's worth a go....
  6. Last 2 games we went to in Burnley before lockdown (we're nearly local...) One in February towards end of season reasonable spring weather...roll on the next season early in August blowing a gale torrential rain much worse...the abiding memory of the first of these was the graffiti on the railway bridge close to the ground that said 'mind your head Crouchy' 😃
  7. That wasn't my point but since you raise it can you name another manager we could have replaced him with and got further than we are now? I'm genuinely interested in your reply because I can't think of many that would...Ancelloti, Benitez, Howe, Lampard, Rooney? He's the best since Koeman and Porchettino despite those results or do you not think so?
  8. You think you could do the job then Standards apply albeit at a different level of reward and our manager shows huge commitment and loyalty when many other clubs pay as much or more. Are you a supporter? He's the real deal and sticks with us as we do him. That's a team that's our club. That's reality in the best league in the world. Show some ambition instead of envy.
  9. Any takeover news then?
  10. Have you ever watched rugby league as opposed to union?
  11. Fits the Lawrie model...which worked quite well and still gave youth a chance...happy birthday!!!
  12. Watts? Voltage? Glad he's in the current squad! I'll get me coat...
  13. As several have said this is pure greed. The clubs ( not teams...) who have allegedly signed up for this are those whose owners have purchased for quick bucks. Aside from Man City the teams quoted have had pretty poor seasons over the last few years. Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham, arguably Liverpool, all of which threaten their investment. How do you protect it? Suggest a new league with no relegation and protected membership. No interest in football, no interest in development, let the other teams do it and we'll cherry-pick their players to supplement our superstars. Only money. In free markets this can drive the best in progress and efficiency. The point is that this requires a free market, this is a closed shop. Let them go, glory hunters of those clubs may rejoice at first, when they become part of a barren wasteland with no development, progression or opportunity they will become plastic franchises. Be a bit like watching WWE etc. No real emotion or passion just pure hype so sad. It will fail, but do the governing bodies have the balls to make it so as they should?
