  1. I remember his promise, to get a beer in the hand of the customer much quicker. He cared, man.
  2. Apparently this is something that has worked well at the new Tottenham stadium. Or at least it’s increasing their revenues. The bars in the stadium are immense, one is 65 metres long along the side stand so queuing is kept to a minimum. Beavertown are in there too so it’s not the filthy muck we have to put up with in a tiny bar staffed by numbskulls. Sport on the TVs, it’s an attractive place to go to for a pre match pint and bite to eat without needing to go to a local pub instead. St Mary’s needs a bit more than a lick of paint to start to think along those lines though, it’s a fucking dump in the concourses.
  3. Medical is one reason yes, but overall it’s to ensure that if you overstay for any reason at all your passport will remain valid while still being able to stay in the country legally and without need for an exemption. EU require 3 months which equates to the maximum of 90/180 (which itself will soon be much better monitored with the upcoming introduction of EES and then ETIAS).
  4. Come on now, they only need the Rwanda planes to start taking off and that’ll solve the whole immigration problem immediately.
  5. The rest of the world have variations on what they’ll accept, insofar as many countries require a passport to have a minimum of 1-6 months remaining at the time of travel. The EU rule wasn’t invented for Brexit, it’s always been there for third country citizens. And it makes sense really, if your passport is older than 10 years on the day you travel (and/or doesn’t have a minimum of 3 months to expiry) it’s invalid to visit the EU.
  6. Just when you think the Tories can’t scrape the bottom of the barrel any further, then go and announce Jonathan fucking Gullis as party deputy chairman to replace 30p Lee. Gullis is the shaved chimp who previously heckled with this lovely interjection at PMQs.
  7. He also posted on the Malaysia flight 370 thread offering various snippets of interesting info. Quite hilariously, forum moron aintclever didn’t know who West Stand was and definitely didn’t like him “speculating” about events, and told him he didn’t know what he was talking about. Shortly afterwards it was pointed out who West Stand actually was, and that he had an infinitely better understanding of the scenario than basically anyone else in the thread (especially his accuser). Quite fond memories actually of me asking West Stand “please tell me that was you?” when asking if he was indeed the hero of BA009 and him replying “yes it was!”. I genuinely felt a bit humbled to share this mental online space with an actual real life hero.
  8. If Penny could just stand there with heaving bust and sword firmly clenched in her hand saying nothing, I think she’d garner the interest of millions. She’d then promptly lose all of that interest when she opens her trap and people realise she’s actually a complete headbanger with not much going on up top.
  9. You also don’t understand them, to be fair, which is also a consideration.
  10. Or if you haven’t seen the game(s) at all. There are many things to criticise xG for and how accurate it could ever be. However the statement “xG never gets anywhere near actual Goals which proves that it is a useless indicator and can be safely ignored.” just demonstrates a complete misunderstanding of what it actually tries to do.
  11. More made up rubbish. Funnily enough it’s quite possible to think you’re a spanner while also hoping the Tories (and their hideous donors) get fired into the sun at the earliest possible opportunity.
  12. Brilliant. Now we're going down the road of asking direct questions to people who are apparently on ignore. Absolutely off his rocker and full of shit.
