  1. 70 minutes, that's both sadistic and optimistic. The mass walk out will be around the 54th minute, when a brave battling performance comes crumbling down as our defence gets ripped open twice in the first 10 minutes of the 2nd half.
  2. Who among us would not take on the job of managing Saints even though we'd most likely do as good a job as Nathan Jones. He was out of his depth, he had a go. I'm have far less charitable feelings towards the people that appointed the man.
  3. almost a bye for them, and Everton can look forward to a much needed 3 points the following week. And this is the new manager bounce, how bad are we going to be when that wears off?
  4. Don't know, because I saw both Edozie and Walcott make runs in behind the Arsenal backline in the final minutes. Unfortunately, Ward-Prowse had the ball and we all know about his reluctance to pass forward. I'm sure he was disorientated when he made that delightful little back heel and thought he was knocking it back to Salisu. Great result but Arsenal really took their foot off the pedal and couldn't get back into gear,
  5. only watched until about 4 minutes after their first goal. At that point Perraud and Bazunu seemed to resemble professional footballers the most. No idea how anyone played after that.
  6. Ottawa was off to a flyer, first moan on goal was in the opening 2 minutes, something about a floated ball
  7. West London, would probably have a been a QPR fan if it hadn't been for my Romsey born dad. Get to 2 or 3 home games and when QPR or Watford are in the same division go to those. Brentford is just down the road, so will probably be visiting there before too long. Been to Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs many times but tickets have gotten harder to to nab over the years if you're not a season ticket holder. There was one other Southampton fan at my school but he wasn't until we signed Keegan and started finishing in the top 6, bloody plastic.
  8. I thought she was alluding to them having only scored 2 goals all season. It's what she's been on about all game, their lack of goals from early crosses. Bazunu did nowt wrong. Spread himself and covered the near post. The scoring git hit it into the turf and it bounced over him, if he'd hit it cleanly could well have been saved.
  9. So many acronyms in our side now, that for the life of me I cant remember who TBF is or where we got him.
  10. Yeah, I've watched a few youtube highlights and even visited a Burnley forum, both have plenty of comments along the lines of 'do we have a buy option?' and 'get him signed'
  11. Tella's goals here. I still really rate him and think he's going to be a cracking player. Hopefully for us. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dFwDmQ5UnU4
  12. I've never seen a player with the ability to go back towards his goal from anywhere on the pitch like Ward-Prowse. ON the edge of his own 6 yard box, he'll try to pass back to the keeper. 2-0 down at home and he receives it on the edge of their penalty area, spins 90 degrees and plays it backwards to Lavia (I believe) stellar stuff
  13. wow, think that's the first time I've seen 3 botched clearance attempts in succession,
