  1. I don't know, his performance against Derby was a sight to behold, one of the most dreadful performances I've ever seen. Sent from my LLD-L31 using Tapatalk
  2. Any relation to the infamous Torpedo Arias? Sent from my LLD-L31 using Tapatalk
  3. I'm going to curse us now and we'll go down, but I don't think its completely impossible that we go on a mad run and win our last 6 games which would put us right in the mix for 7th. Lots of teams cruising, already down or just plain rubbish. Imagine...
  4. Not having this 'it's just banter' reaction. These morons knew what they were doing, they knew it was stupid so just show some respect. We don't need people like that at St Mary's and if anyone else feels a twitch to do something like that then do yourself a favour and ban yourself. This sort of thing happens at Anfield and Stamford Bridge. Not here. Sent from my LLD-L31 using Tapatalk
  5. Didn't disgrace himself, looked about on par with Stephens / Vestergaard in the first half and no worse defensively at RB than Cedric had been at LB. Didn't really offer anything going forward but by then the onus was on the attacking players to make something happen. Tyreke Johnson looked bright at times but had a tough half, got a silly booking and didn't really look ready. Thought Slattery looked composed enough and got involved when he came on.
  6. First time I've seen him in the flesh and dear god he absolutely stank last night. Lost the ball time and time again, didn't show for the ball at all, always in the wrong place and offered virtually no support to either full back when he switched sides. Just all round looked a very poor player. Yes he got an assist, but then even Ali Dia hit the post. I won't be expecting to see him in the side again after that; out on loan with the rest of our expensive flops.
  7. Totally agree, plenty of people blaming the players but we are set up all wrong. We can still get out of this mess, but we have to sack Pellegrino as a matter of urgency. If we keep playing this defensive nothing football we'll go down bottom of the league.
  8. Should've gone to Barca, he's wasting 2 years at least of winning nothing when he could be challenging for Champions League medals. Sent from my Moto G Play using Tapatalk
  9. First things first, get rid of the manager. I don't think we need an overhaul, we just need a more fluid attacking style with a proper front man. Definitely need a new keeper as Fraser is woeful. I'd like to see a 5-2-3 with Boufal and Gabbiadini supporting someone like a Giroud (or a non-crocked Austin). We desperately need forwards operating on the same wavelength and under MP nobody plays consistently. New Keeper Cedric Yoshida Stephens Hoedt Bertrand Lemina PEH Gabbiadini Boufal eg. Giroud That looks solid defensively and with the ball you'd want to see Stephens move up and one of the midfielders get into the box. Sent from my Moto G Play using Tapatalk

  11. We as a city as well as a football club owe a huge debt of gratitude firstly to Marcus for taking us on at our lowest but I think even more so to Kat who should be immensely proud of what she has achieved in her great father's name. She is every bit as much of a legend to this club as Marcus and all the greats on the forum banner. I firmly believe she is passing us on to the best owners possible and trust that she's made a good decision. Enjoy all your future ventures Kat, you'll always be a Saint. 12. To the Pahars/Kumbaya tune. Barry Manilow, Manilow Oh Barry Manilow! Sent from my MotoG3 using Tapatalk
  13. If he gets 4 absolutely nailed on to score golden opportunities then possibly Redmond. He wouldn't have scored Bobby's goal though he'd take too many touches. I feel bad for slating him because he did play very well last night but if he'd tucked one of those others away this would be a much more realistic thread. Sent from my MotoG3 using Tapatalk
  14. Half a season down, still top half, still in with a shout of a cup final, doesn't scream problems, however I think he's got to go. This is a good bunch of players that have shown they have real quality to challenge the top 6 but the motivation, tactics and overall atmosphere just isn't there with Claude. I can take supporting an average team playing average football and getting average results but we are a good team playing negatively and getting bad results. Today should tell every Saints fan that we are still well capable of getting ourselves relegated. I've not really been keeping track of who's available out there but I really think that Puel is the problem and there's no point giving him money to spend in Jan as it's not the lack of quality players that's hurting us. 15. For £15m and reasonable wages we should be snapping hands off to get him back, would improve us instantly. I'd have him alongside Romeu who would really benefit from playing with Morgan. Agree that it's not the priority position but we've raked in so much in transfer fees over that last few years that we should be able to spend some cash Sent from my MotoG3 using Tapatalk
