  1. Excellent stuff as always - much appreciated and enjoyed. Many thanks
  2. It will always be Man Utd. for me - especially Keane and Ferguson. I dislike them with a vengeance.
  3. I`m re-reading The Inquisitive Elf` by Eunice Close, first published in 1965 as part of Dean`s Little Poppit Series. It`s a tale of daring, danger but ultimate release and ends with a reminder of morality, much needed in the world we live in today. A classic of its time.
  4. WGS? Not that I care who the **** they get.
  5. Agreed. There`s a word that seems out of place in football - commitment - but in my 82 years old naivete I would like to think that Ralph will show the commitment to the club that the club has showed to him over `difficult times.` Besides which I wonder if his application to join that posh golf club down Wimborne way has been approved yet. If it has, it could be a game changer.
  6. Thanks for that - I don`t do Twitter though.
  7. I wish he would just come out with it, say he`s flattered by the rumours but has no intention of leaving Southampton as he`s very happy here. (Maybe he already has?)
  8. I agree. That miss was of itself incredulous and deserves criticism. I think my main grumble on here is that it would be more acceptable to read constructive criticism than the personal abuse towards our players. But maybe each `struggling` team needs a scapegoat or two.
  9. I don`t think he was laughing as such - just incredulous at his own ineptitude. Having said that I do not subscribe to the continual condemnation of Redmond - I still think that as `supporters` we should perhaps show less criticism and more encouragement. But maybe it`s just me.
  10. Just started John le Carre`s last book - straight into it, the writing is superb as ever. He is missed already.
  11. Perhaps we can now accept that Ralph knows more than we do and knows what he`s doing - time to support the team and stop the pointless moaning about individuals.
  12. We`re running out of scapegoats - only Redmond left now.
