  1. passed* apologies for grammar.
  2. Fully accept any cautiousness you may have towards this thread due to the **** up of me posting about Baldock and Sam Sodje but they where reiterated snippets given to me. The news 110% coming from Nick Harvey. I will accept any banter or scepticism as they never materialised. This isn't me blowing my own trumpet but I have past on info with regards to Jack Cork, Lambert, Elliot Ward and Jaidi. Information I recieve is from people in football with the exception of Rickie's move as it was the one day I was in the office at Staplewood. So I do know to post with caution. I have been told Saints have made an approach to Palace with refgards to their RB Clyne. This was passed on to me by a Palace fan that currently works for Fulham in their foundation. Just want to share.. Cue the arse tearing from Saint Stevo

For anyone who has met Nick he is a very nice gentleman but also very proffesional, I asked him if there's any truth in Sam and in his words " pretty much all done and dusted, all very quick" then mocked me for what I was curling!!

    Apparently its all done!
  7. because apparently he's a cvnt, would of that thats a bit obvious. might ruin the team bus mentality???
  8. 3-1 Saints, that ***** Nugent will score.
  9. Maybe a poll? Simple as that? I would like to see him back on the bench.
  10. Nedum Onuoha from Manchester City I would be more comfortable with us spending £4+million on a Premier League standard defender. Obviously, it is a very unrealistic signing but wouldnt command a massive fee and would have wages that would just miss out on our structure £25k+??
  11. Apologies about the lay out, it will not allow me to edit it.
  12. Five substitutes from seven substitutes: potentially a hindrance? After Nigel Adkins has revealed that Southampton unsuccessfully voted for seven available substitutes, could this league ruling have been a potential progression for youth development? Obviously, there will be a few downsides to this argument such as the expenditure for bonuses (team win bonuses, appearance fee etc) which are all controlled on a club basis. With the FA desperately attempting to restructure youth development from grassroots level all the way up to the re categorisation of Premier League and Football League academies, ETC’s and centres of excellence. Surely this would of been a huge opportunity for those football clubs that aren’t in a position to fill a whole match day squad with ‘first team professionals’ to start introducing achievers of the under eighteens? Unfortunately, as a case that is on my door step Portsmouth FC is a prime example. In their Carling Cup fixture in which the suffered defeat to League Two Barnet, Steve Cotterill only named three substitutes. Now this has been a frequent occurrence over the past twelve months for Pompey. Granted, Portsmouth’s academy hasn’t frequently produced top tier professionals, only Gary O’Neil, Marc Wilson, Asmir Begovic spring to mind, with not all three of these being school boys at the club. However, there have been individuals that have made the professional cut, albeit at lower league level: Matt Ritchie currently playing at Swindon and Marlon Pack with Cheltenham. They also currently have a central defender in their ranks who is the current under seventeen England Captain who goes by the name of Sam Magri. He has been watched by the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester City and even Bayern Munich and was deemed good enough to man mark Fernando Torres for 35 minutes in Portsmouth’s recent friendly with Chelsea but not good enough to make the deprived bench at Fratton Park? Surely, when you cannot fill the bench, encourage a few youth players to experience match day preparation and actually have a couple of extra bodies available for selection by the management, than not have anyone available at all. Whether its Portsmouth struggling to name a bench or Dagenham and Redbridge, the academy players must have some sort of pedigree to be there in the first place, so why aren’t clubs using the seven substitutes ruling? Your thoughts people?
  13. MLG I hope you've given us a bloody good war chest.
  14. No what I'm not doing as the majority of people who think they are academics and the cream of society are doing, is dressing this up and describing it as something it's not, almist as if its a therapy session. Last night was a bunch of 'chavs' of what is undoubtedly the most screwed up generation of youth in the last century. It was a warm summers evening in which one group of idiots started and escalated via social network sites when it appeared no immediate action was being taken. I would put all my money on 90% of those looting/rioting last night not having any reason for their actions. It was just a glorified rampage by optimistic chavs joining in. Stop trying to relate last nights events to the events of Tottenham in the 80s, it's only similarity is the location. My brother was hiding in the above flat of Weatherspoons in Woolwich, which was torched whilst himself, two friends and a two year old girl where hiding. His partners is a funeral director in Lilleshaw, these kids BROKE into the building, yes where people have relatives that are recently deceased laying at rest. So you now tell me when enough is enough and protection on a forceful scale us appropriate??
