Completely agree, but I felt he was played out of position so not entirely to blame. Was the right winger, but drifted far too far infield, to his natural habitat of central midfield, meaning Clyne couldn't be effective when attacking in the 1st half. Had no help. This will improve with the return of Ramirez and eventually J-Rod , giving Koeman more options for the wide positions. Could be argued Mayuka can play there but I'm not sold on him playing as a wideman. Hope we get a winger in before the window closes though. One with serious pace to burn

Agree with everything said here. The only reason I believe he is now considering Tottenham is because Poch is in charge, and everyone got on with him. Obviously huge issue is that Krueger has stepped out and said he's not moving. We are a laughing stock already but if he is sold, the boards position WILL become untenable. Especially if no one comes in before he leaves. Should have spoke to him before giving those interviews However I feel Morgan has given his all for us and for him to be treated this way is sickening. If he was, as rumoured, promised a transfer out and is refused of course he will be annoyed.

Not just the replacements but the signings we should be making anyway to build a squad which is competitive a) in itself and b) in the league. We need depth and we need quality in that depth which atm we don't have. Certainly want a stronger bench than last season.
