  1. If players want out...get out...theres no going back as far as im concerned. After these players intentions were evident, i would struggle to watch them again in a saints shirt and believe their sincerity; especially one being our captain. This is astronomical money for a left back who aint exactly roberto carlos and a midfielder at his maxima. Can AL get better..i doubt it...once you're sussed the pseudo-cryuff turn. I think fans have got to be patient now with the team and manager especially if things start poorly. The past several months have been unpresidented and trurbullent for saints fans but im confident we will come out of this a better club.
  2. please let this be true. At last a player who is vocal about staying and playing for the red and white...he's always been my favourite ;o)
  3. Stability and ambition are very comforting things for football fans so this a big blow. However after the initial threat of resignation from cortese it was obvious there was conflict with the owners(whose money saved this citys football club i might add). So we go again. The heartbeat of this club are the youngsters and mean we need not spend silly money trying to compete in the premier league. The policy shouldn't change supporting youth development. The satisfaction of winning a cup, title or european qualification with our kids through all the adversity over the recent years would be immense. So we go again.....i pray
  4. If selling Luke is against Saints selling policy and with the constant rhetoric about keeping the best players from the academy and he goes, this sends out the wrong message to the team and fans about achievement at Saints. I think we have options in defence to accommodate his loss but would hate to see him go. At the moment he is an integral part an emerging great defence.
  5. Brilliant player still in his youth. We definately miss his attacks when he doesn't play. Was up against Seamus Coleman, who is playing his best football so it was a big test for lukey today.

    Cork / Wanyama

Lets not forget this a team sport. All our players have strengths and weaknesses. Corky and Big Vic are very different players. Vic is great at breaking the play up but always gives it simple. If MP wants possession he is the way to go. However, corky is definately more creativity and progressive in his passing and is the best option if we need a goal. Big Vic is the man to defend a lead. They are both great players and need to drive each others improvement as footballers. With spider and JWP, saints have a multi-dimensional, multi-talented midfield.
  7. im a fan of big vic but as soon as corky came on, our creativity went up a notch. There was more movement and our play was more dynamic. Wanyamas play is one dimensional but his potential is huge if MP gets him more composed on the ball under pressure and driving through midfield. Thought corky played well and our defence showed versatility. We just got beat by an absolute screamer.
  8. im a massive fan of corky but it would be a mistake to lose him. When winter, suspensions and fatigue kick in , he will be invaluable. Hopefully the standard of the current saints midfield will drive corky on. It is a nice blend at the moment but just lacking some creativity.I hope he signs a long term deal.

    Boruc

Lets face it he's a flawed genius and i think we have just got to accept this type of behaviour from him. Remember he does some unbelievable stuff as well.I felt physically sick after conceding but we werent at full strength,JWP at right back did an awesome job, and expecting something from the emirates shows how far we've come. especially after last season. Move on to those cockney ***s next week. Dennis Wise i hate the ***
