    Tadic

Exactly. He was at his best last season on the left. He and Bertrand built a very good relationship attacking down the left. Hope he stays there as Sadio looked dangerous on the right today- from memory Tadic was only removed from the left after Sadio arrived.
  2. I wonder how close any of Osvaldo's actions have been to allow us to terminate the contract- the Jose incident in particular. It seems crazy that a player can behave like such a **** for so long, show such little sign of ever setting foot near Southampton again, let alone play and still be on the payroll.
  3. I think Brimful of Asha is miles better than 'You are my Lovren'.
  4. Amazing. Royal Oak has been good since, but loads of great memories in the Alfred.
  5. NC said himself the other night that he wasn't leaving- we have nothing to worry about. Looking forward to winning on Sunday and finishing 11th to cap a great season. UTS
  6. Haha, I gathered that's where our long nosed friend got his ridiculous predictions from.
  7. Let them write us off, i remember reading all of the predictions at the start of last season written by clueless people who had no idea of our abilities; one article had us finishing 17th FFS. We will take everyone by surprise once again. UTS
  8. Yeah agreed. If we were to expand, the council would need to pull their finger out and complete a number of tasks to ensure that St Mary's is more accessible; a relevant amount of effort put in to match the revenue/interest that Saints being in the PL brings to the city of Southampton. (I think that report stated that we are the biggest attraction in the city, or some such phrase). As for people worrying about being in people/traffic jams for 10 mins minutes after a game. Personally, i couldn't give a **** and would rather that than an out of city stadium that has stunning exit routes. If people don't go to games for that reason i'd be questioning their passion as fans of SFC.
  9. Understand where you're coming from, but i actually think that St Mary's over the last few years now has a real vibe about it, driven ultimately by Markus/Nicola and the last few years, the spirit of the club of old has come back. I get you're point about The Dell being slightly more special given its nature, but the harsh reality is that new football grounds are always going to lack the same 'spirit' as respective clubs old grounds as the history/memories have to be built in a new stadium. I can't think of one modern ground that immediately brings the spirit of the club's old ground. As TCM mentioned, us, Cov, Leicester, Colchester, even City, Arsenal, the new Wembley, once you have moved away from all that history, people will always say that. My point is that SFC's ground should be bang in the middle of town, as per St Mary's. Pubs, stations, houses are all within walking distance. It would be a disgrace to move to a souless, dullard area like your Reading's or your Brighton's when we can increase St Mary's.
  10. 'The self-proclaimed bestest are legends in their own lunchtimes - they weren't even frightened when their special buses had dog walkers look at them in a nasty way' Sublime.
  11. I really, really hope we don't move out of the city. It would be truly awful to have a souless, remote stadium. St Mary's can be expanded, let's do that.

    Murty...

If he celebrated a Reading goal against us, he should **** off and go and work somewhere else. Although football is a business, if this scenario was replicated in another sector, seeing an employee celebrate another company beating his current company to a deal for example, he'd be in deep ****. End of and no different here. Hopefully this won't be relevant tomorrow night though. COYR
