  1. Success is getting promoted. You can enjoy some of the journey but rather like when we got promoted in league one, no one gives a shiny shite about Huddersfield going on that mega unbeaten run over that period. What matters was that we got promoted.
  2. Lets remember how full of it you were during the unbeaten run and how we should enjoy it and how amazing it was. I replied at the time saying it was completely meaningless if we don't go up. I'd say it's more likely than not now that we don't get promoted.
  3. Surely we should be staying away from wingers who like to dribble with the ball? We already have some of them and they are not suited to the system Martin plays.
  4. I think what this does do is underline that we absolutely deserve our place in the table. We have been outclassed by a better team with better players playing a better system. If we go up I would be worried we would get tonked.
  5. Oh God we're going to lose the semi and he's going to go on about "any other season" "two points a game" etc etc. I can see it now and next year we're going to have Stephens, Smallbone and Fraser starting every week.
  6. Woukd be interested to see the stats but are we the most wasteful team in the league?
  7. Doesn't bode well for the playoffs that must win games we show little urgency and in fact look more likely to concede.
  8. Who was the Wilcox replacement at city? Maybe just get him in.
  9. Good oppostunirty for some new ideas next year. Either we stay down in which case a refresh may be a good thing, otherwise a new man with the financial muscle in the prem. Wilcow talked a good game and did a good job in some areas but he's always going to jump when a team like united come knocking.
  10. There haven't really been any recent performances to speak of. Besides, this is a step below where he was. Plenty of players look a fair bit better when they take a step down (look at Vestergaard and Hoedt for example.)
  11. Time for Alex to actually earn some of his obscene wages. Chance for him to leave the club as a little bit of a hero.
  12. Bazunu not being great doesn't make our backup keepers any better.
  13. Probably. It's mainly to do with the motivation being a political or religious ideology which to be fair you could argue is any killing except accidental.
  14. I was genuinely surprised by that figure. If I had to guess I would say stuff like antifa violence and I remember a few shootings in America but not much in the UK.
