I'm from Soest originally and I can say that it is a lovely city. Traditional architecture with beer gardens around the centre square. Close enough to Dortmund and Koln if you like the bigger cities. As a season ticket holder at Darlington, I can see Darlo rise through the leagues pretty fast. They, last night, just agreed a ground share back in Darlington so hopefully the crowds will back to 2000ish. BTW, please lose the 1883 suffix. It causes unrest here! Sent from my ST26i using Tapatalk 2

You cannot make the comparison between Darlington and Saints on the stadium issue. As an exiled Saints fan here in Darlington holding a Darlo season ticket, I've been through this whole stadium issue, getting shafted by the FA to reforming a new club, ground sharing out if town and now going through another ground building excercise.
