I didn't think it was a penalty. Long pushed the ball one way and moved the other to initiate contact. He's done it a couple of times before and it's not a penalty in my book. One of the few things the ref got right.

I thought we eased into the game much better tonight. In recent weeks we've gone hell for leather in the first 30 and if when we haven't scored we have fallen away. About 25 minutes in today the commentator said he was surprised we weren't pushing more given it was a home game etc. Well the push came after the 30 minute mark for a change and we were much better for it.

I think our main problem is that we lack pace. Pelle, Tadic, Davis, Wanyama and Claise are 5 of our front 6 and they aren't quick. As Leicester and even teams like Palace are showing speed kills. We are trying to play tidy football which works in the first half hour when we're fresh, but falls away badly after that. While I know they are hard to come across, add a lighting quick player into the mix and I think we'll be a lot better for it.
