  1. I haven't been able to find one that didn't require me to enter my card details for 'verification' purposes.
  2. Loved it when he said "Not so good for the first 10 minutes, then we started to play football" So was everyone having tea for the first 10 minutes?? Genuine guy, I like him, I get the impression he was rock bottom in confidence prior to his arrival and has had a tough time of it, glad Koemans confidence in him has turned things around.
  3. "Big decisions can cost people livelihoods and jobs but more importantly points." What a stupid comment to make on TV. I highly doubt the reason he won't be offered the job is down to one decision by a referee in one game.
  4. "The role of Davis as a leader in the dressing room was never more important than it was ahead of this season. He may not be the first-choice goalkeeper in the Saints team -- that honour goes to newboy Fraser Forster -- but he has long been a hugely influential figure behind the scenes for many years, acting as a buffer between the manager and the players and holding great influence with those around him". This cannot be overstated. I personally think the club, and fans, have a lot to be thankful for when it comes to KD. I think his role at saints is massive despite not being on the team sheet, that he has been a key part of the success we have seen, and I hope he remains at the club for a very long time.
  5. Maybe he wouldn't of played much and maybe we would of looked to upgrade, but I would argue that the locker room benefits would of been worth him staying until retirement. How many departures might of considered staying on if Rickie was still here? I believe he would have the same sort of impact behind the scenes that I suspect Kelvin Davis has. I don't begrudge him his move to Liverpool, but I reckon his move was the catalyst for subsequent departures and discontent.
  6. I was as disappointed about Adkins as much as anyone, but MP has been here 3 days and this was his first game in EPL - and for me, tactically, he got it right.
  7. I dont post often, but wanted to come out of my shell to say... ... this is good. That is all.
  8. Balanced comments and fair appraisals of peoples opinion? Here? Really? Perhaps success has soothed our angry bitter souls.
  9. Huddersfield do deserve to go up as much as we do - it'll be a crime if their not promoted via playoffs if it comes to it.
  10. After all the names are spoken and all the great legends are remembered, you should be remembered above them all. Whatever success Southampton Football Club achieves, we owe it to you. Thank you Marcus, Rest in peace.
  11. "Southampton won every first and second ball; they passed it better; competed better and got crosses in far too easily. It was men against boys. I knew that Southampton are a good side. I knew that they had bought very well, had some terrific individual players and were playing as a very good side given their record over the past ten to twelve games, so they didn't surprise me." - Lee Clark So he expected to get battered 5-0?
  12. I love this idea.. saints fans get together, quick whip around for Pompey, we hopefully generate media over it, hand over our donation.. pompey post a message of thanks on a website (not their's obviously). It's sarcastic irony in all its glory.. Lets do it!
  13. I dont see it happening, seems dependant on MK Dons cancelling loan agreement, if so I cant see them handing us their best player prior to the second leg. also looks like a number of clubs are tracking him all of which may come in with bids.. nothing to say we have even spoken to him as of yet.. Hope I am wrong, but still looks a long way off.
