  1. Signed a 1 year extension with City, similar to what Che seems to be about to do with us
  2. I also don’t think our CB’s are good enough to play the possession game. It’s all too slow when it gets to them, they dribble it up to the halfway line looking for a pass and play the most simple one to the right/left back who’s then closed down immediately… or they play a shite ball over the top that runs out for a goal kick
  3. Tino, JWP and Tella look decent. Che’s touch seems poor and smallbone just doesn’t add much
  4. Alfie House says plan was for him to have 30 now and 30 later on
  5. All the Newcastle defenders ran to the line and both strikers stopped and were in acres of space 5 yards out, edozie’s fault there
  6. Wasn’t there tonight, what was the atmosphere like?
  7. He’s not the answer at all. Seems a nice enough bloke but it’s just aimless hoofball tactics. Ralph needed to go, we just got the wrong man in. I firmly believe not even a top manager could get a tune out these players, the squad is just absolute shite
  8. First time I’ve properly had a chance to watch us under Jones. Just glorified hoofball this is
  9. January we need a top striker and another top box to box centre midfielder. That with Tino and KWP coming back are our only hope of staying up i believe
  10. Fulham and Brentford are miles above us - 2 quality managers getting the very best from their players. Villa have too much quality and with emery will only improve. Also believe hammers will have too much to stay up. Think it’ll be between us, wolves, forest, bompey, Everton and Leeds. Jones has one hell of a job to keep this lot up
  11. Will be cheering them on til the end, bored of city winning it every year
  12. Deserved, they were brilliant. Why Toney isn’t going to the World Cup is beyond me! All because some tin pot journalist decides to dig up his past from years back
  13. With that logic Ralph shouldn’t be in charge this season given how bad he was the back end of last season. Think point he is making is in one season Puel achieved more than Ralph has in his time here (granted he had a slightly better squad) Over our last 19 league games since Feb 25th, we’ve W3 D3 L16, GF 16, GA 41. That is as bad a run as you’re likely to see and we’re relegation fodder as things stand
  14. Solid response. I’m just saying i think he’s got mistakes in him, he rushes too often leaving spaces exposed in behind, and we know he’s got a rash tackle in him for a pen. If he’s unwilling to sign a new contract i think cashing in on him now isnt a bad option, that’s all
