Kingsbridge Saint's Achievements

  1. All those missed chances earlier in the season by Che, cost us in the end. Time for him to move on. Any one else spot that pass today to Walcott when instead of collecting on the half turn and moving in to space, he passed it 40 yards backwards over the touchline? Time for him to move on too. Relegation by a distance has been nailed on for quite some time now. Selles absolutely has to go, preferably fired from a cannon. Championship campaign will need a new manager that believes in two strikers, the two said strikers, a new central midfielder that can act as captain, a new centre half and some pace for the midfield. We have three years of parachute payments - next season will be much harder than we think. Plan to get back up in year 2 or 3. Last two games let JWP pick the side, play 4-4-2 and just give the players some freedom to play. Can't do any worse than Selles and his awful awful tactics.
  2. It's nearly over, thankfully. Shit results playing shit football. Time for a massive dump of personnel throughout the club and a rebuild. Starting with the manager and his team of coaches. British manager please, sick to death of the tippy tappy shit Barcelona bollocks. Need to bring in a couple of goalscoring strikers, a good holding midfielder who can act as captain, some pace, a new centre back who can organise the back four and a new goalkeeper. Or we're going through the Championship faster than a Vindaloo through a baby.
  3. Some of our players are worth keeping - a few - but we need a new attack minded manager to decide who they are, who we can sell, who goes out on loan and who needs to fester in the reserves until their contracts expire. New manager also needs to be backed with some proper funding to buy a striker. I'd give Che another go in the Championship, but not as the main man. Plymouth Argyle would absolutely hammer Saints at the moment.
  4. Selles stubbornly stuck to his plan through all his games in charge. Stubbornly selected Moi game after game after game. Well now he has found out where his stubbornness led. Firing is too good for him. Needs to be shot from a fucking cannon the useless prick.
  5. Selles and half this squad need to be moved on as soon as this shitshow of a season is over. Ditch the possession based football philosophy, get in a manager that knows how to get a team scoring goals and winning games.
  6. No pressure tonight hence the 2-0 and 3-1 leads. As soon as the actual pressure arrived (we could see the finishing line and had something to lose) we couldn't handle it. We never can. Team packed full of Bottlers and an even bigger Bottle Job as Manager.
  7. This unlikeable team and manager continue to find new ways to disappoint. Bazunu is one of the worst goalkeepers I have ever seen and those Selles substitutions should have seen him fired on the spot. The point is useless. The points gap between us and 19th won't be remembered after relegation.
  8. Arsenal will get 2 goals up early, easily. They've recently dropped points twice after being 2-0 up and need the goal difference to close on City. So they'll keep going for it. How many can we keep it down to realistically? I'd take 6-0 now and walk away. Maybe play a cone in goal and put in an extra midfielder to cope better with Martinelli/Saka/Odegaard. This season has been horrific. But I do question whether the players are as shit as they look. Tella looked shit last season a lot of the time. I think it's the way a succession of managers have set us up to play. I remember Tiss, Beatts, Pahars, flying forwards, whole team on the attack. What happened to us? Why do managers think they have to mould us on Barcelona?
  9. With this manager and squad we don't belong in the Premier League.
  10. Look at the way Palace went at it under Hodgson and compare it with the approach endorsed today by our clueless goon. Adkins in now or we'll struggle in the Championship.
  11. Why were we getting pooped down our left side all the time? Porro had acres of space down there at least twice before he finally scored. When Perruad gets dragged inside shouldn’t Moi be covering around? I thought that was what Selles meant when he said Moi worked hard to keep the shape. What’s going on?
  12. Diallo over Lavia and Moi over Stu was symptomatic of the sort of selection errors made over the course of the season. Selles seems just as bad as all the rest of them in not knowing or sticking to our best line up. A consistent line up breeds familiarity and some structure. Chopping and changing for each opponent is not the way to do things. This one is down to Selles for me. Diallo and Moi kill us as an attacking unit.
  13. Dead lucky there - Bazunu is a liability though. Hardly anything to do all game but still contrives to get involved and nearly gift them a goal. Playing with Moi is like going down to 10 men and Bednarek still a massive accident waiting to happen with a poisonous attitude to boot. On the plus side, Alvarez and Walcott did enough to suggest a move towards redemption after Grimsby, but that'll be a long journey. United is a write off/free hit so let's just try to avoid a spanking and concentrate on improving 100% as we'll need something at home to a very good Brentford side, that I have have no doubt Ivan Toney will still be a part of. Still think this thoroughly dislikeable Saints side are going down, and might not get another win.
  14. The mismanagement overseen by Rasmus Ankersen has cost an eye watering amount. Crap players signed that now pretty much all now need to be sold as damaged goods, 4 miliion plus on the Jones fiasco, relegation, fan base decimated. Buck stops with football operations for all of it.
