  1. O h dear yet more flashing lights and fireworks !
  2. I thought he already had this role, strange.
  3. He comes across as an arrogant, up his own arse tool
  4. You forgot the word 'SOME' a the beginning of your post title.
  5. Whilst football and cricket took prime sales, it was the place where you could get equipment for all sports, hockey, bowls, tenpin bowling, darts, ice skating, snooker etc etc
  6. One of the cities legendary shops situated in london road, Arthur Toomer passed away aged 86 on christmas eve. They supplied Saints with equipment and sponsored the club for decades. Arthurs dad briefly played for Saints before the first world war and was a club director during the 1950s
  7. Clappers, flashing lights etc etc not football more disney world.
  8. Hopefully in time we can get rid of the pointless cheerleader Kelvin Davis and the other failed benchroom staff.
  9. Just spoke to two season ticket holders in the kingsland corner and they said 'no way' will they allow there seats to be next to away fans.
  10. One thing i dont want to see at St Marys is even more fans standing up and restricting the views of others. If away fans were moved, it might see the entire northam standing up, itchen corner and then also kingsland wing. The club are actually breaking its licence by allowing ANY standing up. Some of the best games and atmospheres at St Marys from 2001 onwards have been, when even more away fans have been inside St Marys. Think of the 2003 Cup run and the games against the blue view it was simply all about what was happening on the pitch and because thats not happening in recent seasons this pointless debate appears. Its a total myth that moving fans would change anything other than increasing the potential for crowd disorder. Tradationally away fans in football are always behind a goal and there is nothing worse than fans being now put miles away from the pitch. Win games at home and there is no debate FACT Crowd control and safety is paramount these days and St Marys was designed correctly to have away fans easy access to coaches in britannia road.
  11. The police and council have already said NO to any movement of away fans from the britannia road corner. The police for safety reasons can easily move away fans out on to the coaches and if need be block home fans from that area if required. Start winning games at home and there isnt any issue.
  12. Put Hughes and useless staff on gardening leave and get someone that can keep the club up and then relook at the situation in the summer.
  13. Just a PR stunt to 'look good'.... there is a 'day' for anything these days, yesterday it was 'world toilet day' Whats it got to do with football ? Kick politics out of football !
  14. Hes a multi millionaire from doing his job already !
  15. Yoshida speaking on the wireless, post match.
