  1. This transfer windows has been a bit dissapointing. If we are to play a Gegenpress game there is still not a suited personel to do it. We are seriously lacking at least on quick CB and a midfielder of the Wanyama type. Our midfield is too weak and slow. Even more so if Lemina is leaving.
  2. Here is another stream for you to try http://buffstreeam.net/old/p10.php
  3. I always enjoyed him. He and Gabby where my favourite players. Even when Dusan he wasen't at his best, he always gave the opposition something to think about. Since he left we are lacking that creativity. We don't have a player that can consistently play a through ball. He destroyed Madrid today with those beautiful passes.
  4. We used to be a team that created many chances but scored few. Now we just don't score. A combination of lack of creativity, talent and lack of confidence has a thinking that scoring a goal would be nothing short of a miracle. I miss Tadic so much. I haven't seen a single through ball since he left.
  5. Here we go again, cringing every time the ball is near Hoedt. Not a fan of Ward-Prowse starting either. Nor Redmond. Nor Austin.
  6. Bertrand and Targett seem to be playing as midfielders, it doesen't like like 5 ATB given that they are always nowhere near the play. And they have been so far up the pitch and wide that they are avaiable for the the counter-attacks. So maybe it's by design? I can't find other explanation. When you are getting so easily sliced at some point the CBs tell the WBs to form a line an cover the wingers but they haven't done it. They are sooo far up the pitch and wide that they seem to be marking the air. It's shocking, really. Let alone that the CBs are slow and really don't seem to be comfortable playing like this. Find the best two CBs and ride them please. The players grow up learning how to play with a back four, they are used to it. Not only they are slow, they don't mark the players going behind them. They don't really know if they should follow the runner, go forward to press... so they just stand still and react when it's too late. In the midfield well, this team can't compete without Romeu covering Lemina's and Hoj's fuc* ups. They don't track back, just watch. Lemina gives you a lot going forward but what does PEH bring to the table? He's is been a hour late to every play.
  7. JWP and Davis in the same line-up. They are almost the same player, they don't complement each other, they collide in the pitch. How can he not see what every person does. MP is just too inept. Lemina in the bench again. Come on!
  8. PEH was the best player on the pitch for me. Romeu is a rock again, he always starts the season slow and gets better around this time of the year. Is it too early to say Forster is back? No way he would have saved that a couple months ago.
  9. Yes!Everyone has been asking for that. It was so obvious that Redmond would be better on the right. Amazing how managers often over-think and over-complicate things. One thing that was present today was movement and it's something we are slowly starting to see. That was pleasing. The 4-3-3 is a very balanced formation and could be very good for us. I would like to see again the PEH-Romeu-Lemina trio and then a lot of freedom for the 3 at the top to roam and find space. Earlier in the season they were stagnant, it was too easy to mark.
  10. Don't think Tunisia is as easy as you are saying but I gess it shows you are confident on your team. Myself, I'm pretty scared of Croatia, Iceland and Nigeria. But again, it shows how bad Argentina has been playing.
  11. Spot on, sir. Plus Redmond is also better tracking back. Those are the reasons why he was picked ahead of Boufal. But after today Pellegrino will have to make room for him, as a winger or a number 10. I don't think he is a stubborn person. He will.
  12. As long as there wasen't any cursing I don't think Pellegrino will be mad at him. It's an understandable reaction from a frustrated player. He has a case. He was good last game and deserved to start. May have been a victim of the no-wingers system Pellegrino layed out today. Here is the magical goal called by a moroccan commentator. He is elated. As was I when I to the ground to celebrate. That's football! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y5HjF5dX0Gw&app=desktop
  13. I'm not biased towards any of them, I like them both. I like Maya for his attitude. And he is a great athlete. But when he jumps with a bigger defender he can be pushed away. One thing is the jumping reach, other is the body strengh. When it is a physical battle well, I think Jack is stronger. Maya's biggest asset is his speed and tackling ability, he does much better against quick and small strikers than those who are strong. That is why Koeman played him as a LB. Stephens weakness I think is his lack of pace. Now Stephens is 23, Yoshida 29. I think given the progression of Jack's career he is on pace to become much better than Yoshida if he is given playing time. Playing alongside Virgil and Wesley would be so good for his development. I haven't seen him look out of place playing in the best league of the world and has played an FA cup final in wich again, he surprised me with his poise when I have thought it would have been better to go with Caceres because of his experiencie. So, I think you should be more optimist with the lad.
  14. How difficult it is to say "I don't agree"? Sorry for the quality, here is an example from last game. Benteke sending Yoshida to fly. I understand he is a fan favourite. But he is a quality sub. Not a starter for a team who wants to make the top 6. https://youtu.be/fRAbrKnBn64?t=4m57s
