There is very few of our squad that gets into the Leicester team, it's on show tonight, it was on show last season too. Could quite easily argue Leeds squad too. The idea that we should be easily getting promoted with this squad is and always has been strange. We're rightly in contention and will go into the play offs with a good chance.
If we don't get promoted then this is a good thing. We'd have a squad littered with a core group of experienced players who would have relegated us and failed to bounce back so I'm very open to losing a lot of them personally.
Presumably you don't want Downes dropped so if closing out a game isn't it, when do you want to be playing 2 DM's out of interest?
Criticising someone for doing something you wanted to see for a while is a great effort by the way.
There’s no doubt that we have lacked a killer instinct in matches lately but on a weekend when everyone at the top dropped points maybe this is a good time to kind of respect the challenge of the league and do away with the ‘should have been 4-0’ mentality. The entitlement stinks and will only set you up for frustration.
As above. Also this was echoed by Martin yesterday in his press conference. And, most pertinently, it was quite obvious that was the reason at the time by anyone watching the game I would have thought.
Don't know what you're referring to here but if you're telling everyone you've rumbled a team I feel like you probably should pick up a better result than 0-0 to back up you're point. Also find it interesting Blackburn players are pointing out a narrative that FF has been stating since November at least... conveniently through FF himself.
