If we have a keeper, who does not tell the manager he is injured to the point that his is practically immobile, a management team that don't notice when the keeper is not taking goal kicks, nor ask why even if they do, and a captain trying to manage the situation on the pitch himself without talking to the touchline, our problems are far bigger than conceding an injury time equaliser.
If you read the above post from HarvSFC, we're quite entitled to draw conclusions from the pattern emerging. American business ethic is profit before all else and cost cutting to the bone. I wouldn't want one at all.
We NEVER sell out at Goodison, even under Hughes when it was a massive relegation game. We took the full allocation but the upper tier had loads of empty seats. Taking the full allocation here will just throw money away and justify the clubs stance elsewhere when indeed we should take larger allocations. This game isn't one of them.
Was there for the play-off game against Tranmere. Was a nightmare to get to and park that evening but I think I'm right in saying that was their highest ever attendance for a league game. Should be a lot easier for our visit and while the away terrace is the whole of one side, I suspect it will be like Cambridge and only open the main stand (which is the newest, all-seater and pretty decent). You certainly don't want to park in the centre and walk, it's about a mile and all uphill and pretty steep in places.
Every single year there are people on here with 'inside knowledge' two tell us who we have first and every single year they're wrong. You would think someone would get it right by random chance (1 in 38), but no-one ever does.
Away to Villa is my guess.
The absolute epitome of what a captain should be. Never heard a negative word from him or about him. Hope the young players at the club learnt a thing or two from him. Hope he wins the title with Rangers.
I completely agree. Unfortunately he has the wrong attitude, so now matter how much potential he has, he won't get anywhere close to realising it. The games littered with examples.
