  1. Hi, should be an interesting match tomorrow. The charity raising website/Facebook page I manage has a preview of the fixture, including a look at two players that have played for both clubs. If you would like to take a look visit (mods approval) www.footballcities.co.uk and click on the Facebook link.
  2. An exciting match at the Amex tomorrow with a couple of thousand attending. As said, an independent preview of the match has been prepared by website Football Cities, which raises money for charity. Fell free to visit (no charge) by visiting www.footballcities.co.uk (mods approval) and clicking on the Facebook link. Enjoy.
  3. If so, remember BHAFC pay some of your travelling costs. If going by train you only need to buy a return ticket to Worthing (from the west) Haywards Heath (From London direction) and Eastbourne/Seaford (from the east). The rest of the journey to Falmer (Amex) via Brighton or Lewes is paid for. Plenty of pubs, cafes etc. around Brighton Station. If travelling by car there are two Park & Ride schemes paid for by BHA. One is Mill Road which lies next to the junction of the A27/A23 and the other is at Brichton Racecouse which lies north east of the city centre. All you need to do is park for free and take the free bus to the stadium. For both of the above you could be asked to present your match ticket. Take note that there is no on road parking anywhere near the Amex but some may be available through the clubs car parks. You will need to contact BHA direct previous to the match to book any available space. To find out much more about the above and plenty more about Brighton the city and club feel free to visit the non profit website http://www.footballcities.co.uk and go to the Brighton and Hove page. You might also find the Southampton and other city pages interesting. Have a safe journey.
  4. ....that BHAFC pay some of your travelling costs. If travelling by train, with a valid match ticket, from Southampton you only need to purchase a ticket to Worthing Central. The rest of the return fare to Falmer via Brighton is paid for. Similarly if from London via Brighton or Lewes the fare has only to be bought to Haywards Heath. From the East the fare is paid for from Eastbourne. I would suggest you check Southern Rail website regarding engineering works etc. before you leave home. Changing at Brighton station there are loads of pubs, cafes etc. around the station and North Laine (accessed via road that runs under the station taxi forecourt). However, if you are driving, again remember, that parking around the stadium is non existent, but you may be lucky in finding some parking nearby for £15/car. The best bet is the Albion Park and Ride schemes, where the parking and bus ride are free, with a valid match ticket. From Southampton the easiest to find is Mill Road which if you travel along the A27 to the A23 junction, the car park is situated on London Road/Mill Road adjacent to the BP garage. This also applies to those travelling down from London. The other sites are Brighton University in Lewes Road and the Race Course at top of Elm Grove. Full information about all this plus much more about Brighton and Hove can be found at (mods permission) http://www.footballcities.co.uk You can also check out the Southampton page and other cities.
