  1. The japanese way. Not the best, but loves the club and us, which to me, is important.
  2. my pride is being a saints fan for almost 40yrs regardless how we are playing. Pride like Leeds fans, is forever regardless of division, and to think because we have a large social media following equates to pride, is frankly, wrong. Pride comes from watching the club grow and develop, unlike saints atm, who are dying a slow and painful death as a direct result of poor management.
  3. Join my club, I hate the way my club is being run, but have had red and white running through my veins since 1979. I don't care atm, I just dont care and that is a sad state of affairs and reminds me of the branfoot era, where i supported the team, but hated the way it was being run.
  4. Nothing, I would rather be a big fish in a small pond than a small joke fish in a big pond. Rubbish kick off's, big time charlie's, tourists, sky bigging up rubbish The championship and div 1 were in my opinion, great times.
  5. Selling shearer, and believing david speedie and kerry dixon will replace him.....yeah like that happened.
  6. i know we look back with rose tinted glasses, but branfoot was abysmal, but at least we had MLT to keep us sane, we havent got anyone close to him now, so god help us.
  7. At last, another person who view the premiership like me.
  8. Fortress, that's a joke? The dell was a fortress at times, St Marys is just like any other modern football bowl and devoid of much noise and passion, with fans not making any noise until the players put on a performance, thus currently its a bit of a catch 22 situation at St Marys.
  9. would take league 1 over the championship, and the championship over the premier league any day. Affordable tickets, players not on the gravy train, 3pm kick off's and not having to wait on a phone line for tickets months in advance. small fish in a big pond or big fish small pond?
  10. There is something majorly wrong at our club. Cheap managers, players being played out of position, lack of passion, whinging players. I hate to say it, but i honestly think a spell back in the championship would do us the world of good. Clear the money sapping players out and restart/rebuild like the last time we were down that way.
  11. Offer him to Man City or Chelsea at stupid price just to get rid. He'll be sulking with us for the next 4 months till the jan sales again, so better off getting rid imo.
  12. Sorry to say, but the support home and away, vocal as a whole and as individuals was much better from saints in the championship and div 1 than in the premiership. Too many people priced out of the game, too many prawn sarnies and 'entertain me like we were at the opera last night darling' people now.
  13. we have known VVD will be leaving this transfer season since the turn of the year, why drag it out like they have been doing so. Surely it would have been better to let him go on the 1st of June & invested the transfer fee wisely instead of buying a 2nd rate polish cb, and then panicking at the end of August when VVD finally leaves and buying some chump from Colchester claiming he's the ideal replacement, like I expect us to do so.

    New Captain

JWP because of his media prowess, and Davies for being a leader on the pitch. No one else should be considered.
  15. Every flipping year, we have a transfer overshadowing the start/end of the season. Shoddy behaviour from our board and continues to make us look second rate.
