  1. The video on YouTube has created an incredible stir, I've just watched it again and during that 3mins there were 225 comments waiting to be published! Interesting to see though, over 11000 people liking her video Political history shows that during dark economic times, extremism comes to the fore due to people being angry and frustrated at life. Immigrants are prime targets The greatest example was when Hitler rose to the lead the Weimar Republic during the great depression. I think we are in absolute denial if we think this woman stands alone in her opinions
  2. I hate to go against the grain here, but I've encountered a growing number of people who share her opinion I live in Huntingdon, it's very white and middle class. Last year, whilst in the fruit & veg section in Tesco Huntingdon, I heard an old woman approach an Asian guy and told him he should be wearing gloves, because nobody wants to buy food that his filthy hands have been near. I was fairly shocked when 2 people congratulated her

    Bale

I don't think there's any sell on clauses for Bale or Dyer It's clear we were making some truly appalling decisions in our final season leading up to administration. I'd like to know who was responsible for sacrificing Bale's future add-ons in exchange for Forecast. Was it purely Rupert, or were others involved? Whoever agreed to it should be ashamed of themselves, it was an absolutely terrible decision
  4. I'm not sure anyone will go to Coventry. They are financially in a huge mess and letting LJ leave on loan will just get him off the books I'm not convinced about the guy though. I've seen him play a few times and I don't think he's particularly good
  5. Clearly Forecast isn't going to make the grade with us, he and Pulis have just been figures of ridicule Nice to Saville getting games though, as he's highly rated. As a defender he will come up against some uncompromising strikers in L2, so should stand him in good stead However, I'm not sure what use the Preston loan for Hoskins is. I can't see him getting any games at all
  6. It's a shame the original forum thread isn't still available. I think it was 'The Farmer' who posted the image of his hand coming over the roof and holding up a floodlight stand. I literally had to get out of my seat and walk around the room, I was laughing so hard it bloody hurt sitting down
  7. I think the awful penalty decision allows Brighton to centre the criticism on the referee and not themselves, because I was disappointed in their overall performance.
  8. I think Lambert and Le Tiss take similar penalties They have an ability to create power and pace with their in step, and never just stick their laces through the ball. Which means they never just smash it down the middle or over the bar. They also seem to have the ability to disguise their shape, so the goalkeeper struggles to read which way it's going
  9. Totton vs Bristol Rovers Live on ITV Sun 4th Dec 12.30 I never thought I'd see the day when AFC Totton were live on National TV!!
  10. If you're comparing AP & NA, then I'd like to add two loan signings to Pardew's list - Antonio & Papa Waigo These two were really important players in out JPT truimph, and our near miss on the play-offs after starting with -10 points That first season set us up nicely for last season's promotion push, and even though those players never returned, they helped get the ball rolling
  11. It would be a pretty poor show if Totton's ground is considered unsuitable They've only just built the thing, surely they must have had ambitions to host games like this when they moved there
  12. I just hope they get a great draw, to get another non league team would be such an anti-climax for them
  13. I've just noticed the crowd - 2315 That's a cracking effort, didn't they take 15,000 to Wembley for the FA Vase Final a few years back? It's begs the question....who's our biggest non-league club, Eastleigh or Totton?
  14. I suggested on Page 2 #51 that Bournemouth should snap him up I have to be honest though, I didn't think for a second that he would be interested
  15. I find the rivalry with Brighton quite amusing. However, in all fairness to them, Brighton is probably one the biggest underachieving football towns or city in the country They have a pretty big population, and to the east of them there's hardly any football clubs of note at all. Also the people of Brighton & Hove love their area, they're passionate about it. It's makes you wonder why 1979-83 are the only 4 years in the club's history in the top flight
