I think it is a decent enough selection with every choice justifiable. Obviously it favours the modern day players who people have actually seen play.
Pre-dates me by some way, but based purely on reputation, Stanley Matthews probably deserves a mention.
Of more modern players, i'd have gone for Stuart Pearce rather than Ashley Cole.
Gerrard, Scholes & Bryan Robson must have been close.
64-6. Should be OK if the weather holds off. Elsewhere another ton for Gary Ballance (3 in 3 first class games this season). Got to be worth another look in the Test team.
Harsh on Sagan, but not necessarily wrong. At best he was careless/clumsy. For me, its the cycling equivalent of an unintentional late tackle in the box.
