  1. I hadn't previously heard of him, but his bio speaks for itself and if he plays high pressing football a la Poch, then I'll be very happy. I'm excited by the prospect of him tbh. Moyes, Allardyce etc would be a sideways move from Hughes. Ralph appears to have a winning mentality and formula, so there was no-one that I know of, currently out of work that fits the bill as well as this bloke appears to
  2. Thanks mate. I may not be very active in the Saints world these days, but I'm still here. Just [emoji3]
  3. I don't post here, or read Saintslist these days Dunc, but what you are describing is the world of social media in a nutshell. In fact you can trace this kind of pos/neg posting behaviour back to our demise after the FA Cup Final. I don't need to go into the Lowe/Wilde posts all those years ago, but you're not reporting a new phenomenon. You can see it everywhere now i.e. brexit/remain, left wing liberal elite/right wing extremist, Democrat/Republican. For every one person with a leaning towards one, there will be vitriol coming back. It seems to be the way of the world. As far as Saints are concerned, I'm not convinced that Puel can improve or get the best out of players consistently. For every Liverpool performance there seems to be three or four utterly dull and clueless performances with no cutting edge. For all his fine words, we see the same kinds of performance repeated over and over again. I do still think the club is well run, but Puel seems to be taking the team backwards like most of their passing. I won't throw any vitriol in the direction of anyone who thinks Puel is right for the club, nor anyone who wants him out. It's actually not that important. I want us to do well, but I don't get worked up about it any more.
  4. What's the difference between FM Touch and FM Mobile apart from cost? FM Touch was £14.99 last year and I bought the cheaper Mobile game for £6.99
  5. You're right there, I ought to switch them on again just for that reason. (If I can find the service to enable them again [emoji3])
  6. I've disabled Windows updates. I do not like the current options, and after a recent update, my PC seemed to have got stuck in an endless loop where it kept asking for a bootable disk. I would like Microsoft to go back to the option of me choosing when to update etc.
  7. For some time, I've noticed that I'm getting spam emails into my spam box from people either in my contacts list or people I've been in touch with via email, ie a couple of guys who do double glazing that I asked to give me quotes. I use Norton Security Suite which has never detected a virus and it's Gmail's spam checker which correctly identifies these messages as spam, but I'm wondering if it's my system that got infected at some stage, or them just clicking on clickbait messages in the past. It's not a huge problem but I wonder where the problem actually is?
  8. Cool. Thanks. I'll take a gander
  9. I've seen the Following edition for PS4 on Simply Games for just over £30. Anyone play it at all? A mate of men loves it but he recommended Diablo 3 to me and I bought it, only to find it extremely repetitive and a bit shiiiite
  10. I though it was quite funny when Crook tweeted that we weren't in for Charlie Austin just before it was announced he'd signed for us. The guy is a tool and only does what tabloid journos seem to do. Make stuff up.
  11. Thus far, a big thumbs up to this collection. I've played a couple of hours on the first game and really enjoyed it. It's a bit like the recent Tomb Raider game but with a male lead. Good mixture of puzzles and action. If the 2nd game is better, then I'll be very happy [emoji3]
  12. I got bored with it too. After all the hype I was disappointed with GTA5. It started off well enough, maybe it was the time taken driving to missions, but I didn't get hooked on it either on the Xbox 360 or the PS4.
  13. Well I've ordered this collection, and based on feedback I've read, I'm really looking forward to it
  14. Cheers. I will order it and give it a go.
  15. I've seen this 3 game remastered collection of games on Amazon and wondered if anyone here had played them? It's by the same people that did The Last Of Us, which initially I thought was rubbish, but kept with it and it was an excellent game, so I was thinking I might invest when I'm out of hospital. £39.99 today online
