  1. That is very generous of you. I'm sure he will be thrilled to know you are prepared to give him another chance.
  2. Not according to Danny Ings he isn't. Where you get this kind of garbage from?
  3. It's probably on a Vestergaard Server
  4. In what way was my post regarding Che Adams incorrect? I believe he is still very much a Southampton FC player. The story surrounding Che Adams started when an article in the Yorkshire Evening Post claimed Leeds offered the Saints a loan fee with an obligation to sign him for £20m in the summer if Leeds managed to get promotion to the Premier League. It was then picked up by the trash press such as Hitc and Read Southampton. Both these so called 'football news' websites exist on repeating and embellishing rumours because it generates advertising income. The point is that Leeds can offer whatever they want to but if Saints do not want to sell and the player does not want to move then all the huff and puff in the world is not going to change that situation. All it could possibly achieve is to unsettle the player in question, which is likely to be the whole point of printing the story. There is truth that Saints are talking to Tottenham regarding Kyle Walker-Peters. I have not been briefed by the club at all.
  5. You are wrong about Les Reed. He was the main instigator in signing Carillo and Ross Wilson was instructed by RK and LR to get him signed. This was done to offer support to the manager. Danny Röhl left for reasons that had nothing to do with Bayern Munich. Danny Röhl was offered and accepted a position with Bayern 7 weeks after leaving Southampton FC. Ralph is at Southampton FC for the long term and together with the management and Matt Crocker, the intention is to build a viable and sustainable club which will be highly competitive in the Premier League. Ralph is not at all isolated. He has the support of the owners, management, backroom staff and the players and he is held in very high regard. Anyone can see that the club struggled after RK left so there is absolutely nothing revealing in stating that.
  6. You don't get stick for pointing out the obvious. You get stick for constantly being negative and for being rude to people who don't share your obvious nasty critical streak. You also get stick for your obvious hatred for an owner you know nothing about and have never met. Matt Crocker had to give notice to the FA and when that notice period ends he will begin work at Southampton FC. You actually write very well but the problem is with what you write. People just get tired of an endless stream of bitterness. You are one very sad individual if that is all you have to contribute.

    Che Adams

This media talk about Che Adams was just that. Nothing more to it than rumours turned into a so called story. There is very little happening in the transfer market this January so the media just enlarge and exaggerate a sniff of anything to fill up space. Leeds manager says Che Adams would be a good buy - Adams is off to Leeds. Harry Kane gets a serious injury - Danny Ings now a target for Tottenham. Ben Chilwell rumoured to be going to Chelsea - Ryan Bertrand now off to Leicester. And so it goes on.

    Che Adams

The Express and Mail are notorious for running stories that are based on rumour and speculation so believing what they write is pointless. Leeds stated an interest in Che Adams, the media picked it up and ran with it. The story is reinforced by the usual suspects on Twitter and the football rumour websites and all of a sudden it's happening. When it turns out there is no truth in the story and Che Adams is not leaving they invent a story that Ralph prevented the move by putting his foot down, therefore covering their own arses. That is how the media work and that is how they generate their income. The more people swallow the lies the happier they and their advertisers are. Just watch what happens to the Danny Ings story and the links to Tottenham now Kane is injured. It's just pathetic click bait rumour mongering.

    Che Adams

The talk over Che Adams and Leeds Utd has been based on the various statement that Leeds have made. That was naturally picked up by the less reliable elements of the media and expanded into it being an almost done deal. Nothing could be further from the truth. Che has not had the instant impact fans would have liked but that is understandable. It can take time to become integrated into a new team, especially when it's a team that has itself struggled to come to terms with a completely new system and the increased fitness levels required. As the team develops and the system becomes more natural to players it is likely Che will hit form and the goals will come.

  11. Incorrect. Danny Ings was a loan with an obligation to buy. All of you long winded and critical posts are based on you having absolutely no information on what is happening within the club. You do not know what Mr Gao thinks, or what his intentions are with Southampton FC. You know nothing about what transfers are or are not going to take place and you do not know how much money has been allocated for transfers. In fact everything you write is based on what you think, what you feel and your in built negativity towards people within our club that you personally know nothing about. The fact that the whole club are now making an immense effort to correct previous mistakes and create something that may well turn out to be quite special is being done on a sustainable basis. You are wrong to accuse the club of breaking promises when the club have made no promises, other than to do the very best it can in an incredibly competitive league. The people involved with Southampton FC are working flat out to make it a success and rather than keep sniping at them perhaps you should get behind the club 100%. No one is perfect and no human being can be right all the time. Things go wrong and mistakes are made but throwing criticism at what the club is or isn't doing, based on nothing but your opinion, is pathetic and very tiresome. There are very positive things happening within the club that can not be made public. No company holds its management meetings in public when it discusses future development or other sensitive matters. Southampton FC are no different.

  14. Gordon, I offered an apology but you seem to be intent on pushing things along so there isn't much I can do about that. So you assume that I am new to this forum thing? On here yes, but you know absolutely nothing about who I am or what I do. The DOF appointment was always happening so no hindsight involved in that. You had just lost it with the club and no longer believed a word they said, but that was probably what a lot of people feel. Accuse the club of telling lies if you want but just because something doesn't happen in the time frame we would like, it doesn't mean it isn't happening or won't happen. You don't know what Gao has, or hasn't done. Some people are reserved by nature and others are more outgoing. Maybe he is the former and has now realised that he has bitten off more than he can chew in buying 80% of the club but doesn't want to face it publicly. Whatever the reasons for his silence, you and I don't have the right to demand that he comes and talks to us. None of us own a percentage of the club so what obligation does he have to paying customers, which is all a modern day football fan is viewed as. Yes Matt Crocker is a very good appointment, and there are going to be a lot of surprising things going on at Southampton FC this and next year.
