  1. Thanks Steve, you are indeed right, I called the ticket office and picked up one of the singles. Still a few left if anyone else is looking. Strange that they put up the sold out sign?
  2. Now sold, out but if anyone is going Xmas shopping and will not be using their ticket I would appreciate hearing from you.
  3. I for one would have settled for safety with a game to go. Since the 4-1 loss at West Ham when I thought the game was up we have played some great football. Some people need to appreciate the journey that we have been on in the last 3 years, unbelievable by any sensible expectation. Mind you I did doubt for a moment when Sunderland scored and I dashed to the wine rack. Seems to have done the trick.
  4. Block 30. if you can reply straight away I will catch todays post.
  5. Spare ticket in Kingsland Stand for Saturday, I will be out of the country. Ticket office price.
  6. I remember that there were padded seats, a very impressive stadium, an eerie atmosphere because it was barely a quarter full and that the team did not turn up. I have not often experienced that feeling since. I was at Orient in 1966, Fulham in 1978(?) and St Marys yesterday to see Saints clinch promotion to the top level. Curiously enough, as far as I can remember, I was far more nervous this time, maybe because on the other two occassions they were the penultimate matches of the season. However, once the 3rd went in I relaxed and it was fantastic that 32,000 Saints fans were there to see it. These are the days you want to have been there.
  7. I am in italy, does anyone have a stream for tonights match please.
  8. I think the TOSSAS are long gone, I remember going to a gathering at the Chequers in Oxford High Street, to watch a televised cup tie at Ipswich. As I remember Dean Richards scored the only goal, so that was a while ago. There must have been all of 5 of us there.
  9. Anyone travelling from or through the Oxford area, or alternatively, would be prepared to share petrol cost?
  10. Antonio 7? He was absolutely awful. Beyond words really. 1st half was one of the worst halfs of football i have seen, i think we had our first shot in about the 33 minute. 2nd half different story, great goals and much much better. Tranmere were crap though.
  11. I have been watching Saints since 1960 and I am struggling to remember us playing a non league team in the FA Cup. Can anyone establish when we may have last played a non league team?
  12. Possibly true. However, if you read his copy every Sunday the treatment of the Saints is very balanced. Ask Leeds and Ashley Cole to name two!
  13. Dark Sotanic Mills has been in contact and my ticket is now spoken for.
