  1. people complaining about this hilarious 😂. As Steve eloquently said on the podcast... we're bottom of the league and there ain't much out there. Think he will be a good fit and if he is prepared to manage in the championship seems a no brainer.
  2. anyone else struggling to get THAT excited when we still have NJ in charge... I don't think these signings change the trajectory of where we are going.
  3. Don't feel that bad. Should have scored at 4-0 and never was a penalty/red. Manager and players should remember that and laugh it off. Beat Newcastle
  4. maybe selling all of our backup centre mids to Fulham wasn't a good idea.
  5. the most offensive bit of the entire thing is his lack of use of paragraphs.
  6. This is a fascinating article about the massive problem all sports have https://www.si.com/mlb/2020/04/10/sports-arent-coming-back-soon . Supports your prediction...
  7. Can everyone agree this is the most bonkers season ever!? 9th in the league! After the Leicester thumping and that Everton loss at home, I don't think anyone could've imagined this. Well done Ralph. Huge credit to him and the team. Do we now have to start worrying about him being poached by another club? Ha.
  8. Amazing result and what a run we’ve had. Fair play to Ralph he has turned it around big time. Like others have said still in shock about the last few weeks. We were dead and buried after Leicester, most people had accepted relegation and now we’re 12th. Bonkers season. It does feel very tight at the bottom though and teams seem to keep on winning. So we need to keep it going, not safe yet. Fair play to Ralph though and to the board for sticking with him.
  9. Great Pod. Informed discussion and felt that the everton de-brief could have gone on longer. Surprised no one said Ralph should go though...
  10. Bring back Puel. Seriously. The man got us to 8th in the league and it was largely the same players. To be honest I am sure I feel like most fans... over it. Bored of this sh!t. Do I care if we stay up? I guess, but who wants more seasons of this. Sadly when we go down, I don’t see us coming back anytime soon. The club is rotten. Hard to believe what has happened since Koeman days. Final thought was when England announced their u21 team this week not a saints player in sight. Remember when we used to fill those teams up... now nothing. Even the academy has turned to ****. Grim.
  11. Fascinating article and clearly The Athletic have a put a lot of work into it with how many journalists are credited. A really depressing read with so many sources (including players and staff) disillusioned. No real solutions offered either... can't help we are turning into the new Sunderland, it seems so rudderless at the moment.
  12. Unbelievable. Woke up down under at half time and went back to bed, genuinely thought there was a glitch on the bbc app when I checked final score... Can’t help thinking sacking Ralph is the wrong move, but I dunno. Who the hell do you bring in? Puel, Pellegrino, Hughes and now Ralph. Don’t think its the managers who are the problem but the players and the people running the club. a new manager I don’t think will change much... That being said losing 9-0 to Leicester at home is beyond belief so if he does go you can’t complain that much. Part of me is like a lot of you and doesn’t really care if we go down, maybe it is what we need. But I can’t help looking at clubs like Sunderland, Stoke and even Pompey and thinking we MUST stay up. Oh well only Man City next...
  13. Just googled them and it revealed nothing. No twitter handle either bit strange for sports marketing... hmmm
  14. most alarming thing I thought was how the players reacted after we equalised. total headless chickens going gung ho for win. A calm head on the pitch was needed to tell them to calm down and take the point. So annoying. ffs
  15. Feels like a big big game. Win and we're 6 points from the relegation zone and I think will feel like we're waving goodbye to a relegation battle. Lose and I think it will feel very scary again! COYR.
