    Boruc

Boruc has already earned us 2 extra points vs Swansea at home. So we're even. No worries big man.

  4. Plus he's scoring all these premiership goals against international defenders/goalkeepers every week. Why isn't that good enough for England? When he'd have better 'so called' players around him? That savage piece on him was the laziest segment of punditry. Embarrassing how people get paid to provide us with that superb insight into the game. Thank god for sky+ so I can forward all the drivel on MOTD.
  5. Yes! At least we'll be losing 4-3 now instead of 4-1, which is a bit more respectable!
  6. At the end of the day, no matter how bad a game Lambert is having. As an opposition defender you breath a massive sigh of relief if he goes off the pitch. That's what i don't understand - he will always keep them occupied. No matter if he can't run around like a 21 year old. He sees things, calms the game down, takes pressure off the team and makes fantasic passes, flick-ons etc. This substition didn't cost us the game though, there were plenty of other reasons which have all been said. Main one was defence sitting way too deep. And give a little credit to Fulham who got their game going. Draw was a fair result.
  7. http://tv.espn.co.uk/gb/espl/espn-news-updates/espn-news/espn-unveils-initial-2012-13-barclays-premier-league-matches-2/ Saints NOT on espn for first 4 months of season.
  8. Pardew built the bus and Adkins is the driver. If pardew joined us a few weeks earlier then I think we would've had a better start to the 09-10 season and actually made the play offs and got out of league one at our first attempt. Remember we were a better team than Norwich who actually won the league. Paul lambert said we were the best opposition that year by far. The -10 points was the killer. Pardew would have taken us to the premiership. No doubt.
  9. For me, with saints usually being slow starters to a season it had to be Leeds at home first game. Being 3-0 up within the hour and playing beautifully against a potential strong team made me realise that this season was gonna be great. With nothing to fear- the anticipation of the season ahead was so frigging exciting! it put those 'just maybe' thoughts in the back of my head after one game!
  10. Reading slip up at home to forest 0-1. Wham lose to Bristol city (which also sends Pompey down) and saints win at Peterborough. Saints are back top of the league Tuesday night, 2 games to go and six points clear of 3rd. Would pretty much sum this league up. Nothing is a dead cert. I'm definitely buying some calsberg this Tuesday...........
  11. Utter crap. Fonte is quality. Get off his back. Just like being a keeper -You remember all the mistakes but forget all the brilliant things. He also brings the ball out of defence superbly and makes me feel more comfortable with the ball at his feet than jos does. Try encouraging instead of criticising.
  12. Fox all day long. He's accurate and can probably hit a ball just as quick as Rickie. Helps an awful lot if the ball is past the gk before he even gets near it!
  13. Whatever you're opinion of him please try your best to encourage him. It doesn't help him or the team. Encourage! Support! If things don't work out- keep encouraging. No one means to mess up. Getting on players backs only helps the opposition. We're all in this together- whether we like certain players or not. Plenty of times ive wanted to call guly a useless t*t but what will it acheive? It only destroys a players confidence. Once they move on from saints then slag them off til you feel stuffed but whilst they wear the red and white then they have to have our full support. And a bit of man love.
