Thomas Peckhart, on loan from Spurs - truly sh1te. First touch like a sledgehammer. Unbelievably, he is currently playing regularly for Nuremberg in the Bundesliga.
My Charlton supporting mate said they were awful today and thinks we will turn them over on the 26th. It's also worth noting that Parkinson has just won manager of the month so hopefully the curse will continue!
Thats the worst I can remember.
D'urso was poor today, I didn't have a clear view of the Guly incident but Barnard was getting consistently fouled and got absolutely nothing.
Watching Gary Speed score a hat trick up at Goodsion 4 days shy of my 9th birthday, still full of optimism just weeks after the 6-3 triumph over United.
I'm not saying it's acceptable for it to happen especially with children present, but was it necessary for him to do a 'going down' gesture? The man represents your club and should rise above it all and act professional no matter what is going on. In my opinion he showed a real lack of class.
Much improved performance and a great result. Barnard worked incredibly hard as usual and he probably just beats Kelvin to MOTM who made 2 brilliant saves in stoppage time. Wednesday didn't really get going in the 2nd half until the last 10 minutes and in truth we should have finished one of our other chances and killed the game off.
If you're getting the train I'd reccomend drinking in Weatherspoons close to Milton Keynes station as there isn't a lot on near the ground. The other option is to go to into Fenny Stratford or Bletchley.
I've booked a flight from London City Airport to Basel then plan on getting a train down to Fribourg on the Friday in time for the Sochaux match. Has anyone found/could reccomend a place to stay there?
