i often read this thread, to amuse myself after a long day at work, but there seems to me that i must have got something wrong or some of you have. When did the football league block the harris deal? i mean actually block it? from what i have read/heard they are only saying that pfc cannot play in the football league should harris take over. what people seem to forget is that this is a company in admin, the fact they are a football club shouldn't matter. pkf can choose the harris bid and the fl cannot stop them, they can expel them from the league but they can't actually stop them selling the club. it is what is best for the creditors surly not the fans/league/reputation etc....

we took 5,800 and the official attendance was just over 18,000, i find it hard to believe there was 12,000 home fans today, there were plenty of empty seats. great support by the saints fans today 2 more wins!!

there are a few points about expanding sms that are being over looked here, sms with 32k fans in is at best a nightmare to get out of, just think what it would be like if you added another 5k/10k, the council gave us permission for 32k because of this problem, now yes we could try and sort something out but i very much doubt the council would pay the bill, so more expense for the club. I think NC will be clever and buy up some of the waterfront and surrounding areas before expanding, this way he can use the extra land to the clubs advantage, more space for more people. i remember RL saying he wanted a waiting list for season tickets before expanding, now whatever you think of the guy that seems a good plan, you build when you know you're guaranteed 20-25k season ticket holders) plus your pay per match fans plus your away fans.

we don't have directors as such, each area has a head, i.e operations (brendon mclinchey), retail (is it leighton mitchell ?), sales (was David Luker), academy (Les Reed i think) and so on, these all meet as a 'board' with NC as chairman. Although i think Lindsey Hyde has now left, not sure what dept she came under?
