  1. Its a tough one though, best to enjoy this while we have it. Many a good manager have used saints to move onto better prospects and I wouldn't blame Ralph if he did the same if our form carries on the way it has. I'm hoping the Tory party prove me wrong too, and ill be the first to admit that I was wrong should they unite the country and make us more prosperous, all the while making it sustainable for future generations. The hang over from last night has nearly gone, so a bit more compos mentis now
  2. anytime my friend, by the way, ill chat to any saints fan in the pub, I will always welcome back any Ralph doubter. Once a saints fan, always a saints fan.
  3. ok, ill admit i'm a bit of wind up merchant. But out of 15 saints fan i know at work, about 7 of them wanted Ralph to go. I know that about 90% of those people voted for brexit. Just proving that its better sometimes to keep the status quo. Hate to bring politics into football, but politics will effect football in the long wrong. The country will be worse off and less people will be able to attend the matches due to pay cuts/job losses. Boris might pull at rabbit out the hat and prove me wrong, but if he does, it will just be BINO. Brexit in name only. He just wants power, that's it. For someone that doesn't know all the names of children, we are asking a lot. Ralph on the hand, he had real passion, knowledge, the full package actually, real class shines through.
  4. I am doing a school project actually. How many were calling for Ralphs head were brexiters? I need to know some stats for a case study. Please PM yes/no, you have to have voted for brexit to take part.
  5. ...were brexiteers. I am doing a school project and need to know percentages etc for saints fans etc. Please answer yes/no below (please answer honestly and you have must have voted for brexit. Thanks, Paul.
  6. I am staying in Hong Kong for a bit, anywhere watching the game?
  7. I guess that's a matter of opinion. http://www.theguardian.com/technology/2015/sep/06/will-robots-create-destroy-jobs.
  8. I cant work out if you are happy that Doctors and Teachers are being F**ked over or happy that you may not have to work in 15/20 years. I'm interested.
  9. He may have a few daft polices but he wont f**k up the country as much as the Tories are doing. I speak to a lot of Doctors and Teachers and the entire system is a farce. Teachers are now having to work 12 hours a day, I know at least 3. Regarding Doctors, we can kiss good by to many of our Doctors we have trained and paid for to Australia, again I personally know 2 have already bought 1 way tickets. It was Labour started free health care and the NHS and its the Tories who are selling it off. As for Being worse or better of in an era, it depends on who you are what you were doing. Many coal miners I'm sure will disagree with you in the 80's when the north was truly F**ked over. I import many goods and services from China, and rest assured, we are all better off from this cheap labour abroad and we have all beniffited over the last 30 years from this. However, globalisation in the long term is failing, the UK can not afford to compete and we can only offer services as a growth area. Many of the other sectors are in recession and I see no way of turning this around in the short term. Lastly, Robots, this is going to be the bigger than industrial revolution by a long way and will happen in a heart beat. Many jobs will go across the spectrum and will change how we live and work. Potentially **** could hit the fan and civil war will break out, but I doubt this will happen. The government will give everyone a guaranteed income to pay for services and food. Robots will carry out 70% of the work and everyone that wants to work, and where work is available, will be able to top up their income. Many academics think this will happen in about 15 years! So make the most of work while you can and then live a happy semi retirement.
